If you have a parent available to do it, homeschooling is WAY more efficient than Libnut School. What takes them 7 hours a day took us 2-3 at home, covering MUCH more material than they did. Also you can still cover the 'socializing' aspect by getting your kids into activities, sports and homeschooling groups that often do a TON of stuff. Both my kids got into college with full tuition scholarships so I believe there was no dropoff in the quality of their education either.
We're brainwashed that government-run schooling is necessary. Now obviously if both parents work you do what you have to do.
Maybe I'm a jerk, but I think the majority of women should be home with the kids. Women in the workforce has shook up everything. They want us to believe we should get married, both parents work. Bring in at least 150k combined, celebrate, and let strangers watch the kids through adulthood, feed the kids junk, garbage their minds with propaganda, and wonder why they turn into shitty adults.
If you're a jerk, I'm a jerk too (and a super problematic one because I am a lady, dang it!). Marxists have been able to do the damage they've done by convincing women that
Children are a burden
Home making is not a fulfilling role
Women have spent thousands of years chained at home and completely miserable because of "muh patriarchy".
All three are a lie that requires a Year Zero retooling of history to be swallowed.
I couldn't agree with you more. I stayed home and raised three beautiful children. When the youngest turned 13, our finances were not great.so I started my career and worked for 30 years at a job I loved. I'm newly retired. My favorite job ever was at-home mom. I wouldn't trade that experience for all the money in the world. I have a million memories from when I was "barefoot and pregnant"
I was raised by a dad who worked hard and my Ma was at home taking care of all the day to day stuff. It worked out well. I'm 40 now and never got married or had kids. Not many women seem to share my vision, but we'll see.
A woman's dream, and a mother's responsibility are not one and the same. Likewise the father. When you have children, your personal dreams are put aside, all your attention is towards your children. " HE THAT DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF HIS OWN IS WORSE THAN AN INFIDEL" (1 Timothy 5:8) The better part of this generation, think they know better than God, their lives are a disaster, and they're baffled as to why.
You are not wrong...as you already know was done to dismantle the nuclear family. Done with the promise of things they couldn't obtain without two working adults and then get them addicted to keeping up with the Jone's to satisfy those desires...then add women empowerment and you have the perfect storm.
You are not wrong fren; the world would be a better place if only the Father of each household could work but the system is set up that it takes two for most individuals to make enough to satisfy their desires and even then they are still a slave to the system with only a taste to keep them coming for more.
Absolutely true. Kids who are homeschooled can finish their work much more quickly and efficiently, leaving them room for enrichment or field trips or just…time.
Yes. One reason is because you're teaching at the speed of the child, not the speed of the stupidest person in the room. Once they reach a certain age, they are capable of taking care of their own learning process with only a bit of oversight. Most original schools when our country was founded put all of the kids in one big room, and they all learned at their own speed , not what their "age appropriate grade" told them to learn . Many people have warped ideas about what homeschooling is, and have no idea of the number of field trips and sports activities that are organized plus the number of field trips the parent can create on their own while teaching particular subjects. So happy to see so many more kids getting home schooled these days! I did it 27 years ago when it wasn't particularly popular.
My Wife and I were incapable of having kids, but if we had, I think that pod schooling would be a good way to go. A small group of home schoolers pool their resources and either teach themselves, or hire tutors in specific subjects to teach.
Colorado is 50% Hispanic, I've heard from others around here that a lot of Latino kids have been taken out of their classes. Everyone here is so woke the libtards probably love the indoctrination. All my based friends started homeschooling or put their kids in private school years ago. She's a teacher, she's not allowed to notice if they're all brown or be branded a racist.
How do these teachers have time to homeschool their kids? I keep hearing how hard-working and devoted teachers are and how it takes up so much of their time after school hours even though they basically regurgitate the same class every year ad infinitum.
You find time if you really want something. You make the time. I have retired people who cannot do anything because he/she has no time and those who work full time, run business still make time.
I work in public education...it is even worse than you can imagine.
Thought I could be a beacon of light and fight the good fight. But it is a rigged system...the biggest qualm I have is they took away any and all accountability. We are literally raising a generation that thinks the solution to every problem is to seek a safe space or make enough noise to get their way. Kids today break when even the slightest amount of pressure of is applied.
Of course their are exceptions, but I would say 95% of the kids coming through the public education system will be illy prepared for the world...but the other question I ask is what will that world even look like when they enter it, will it even matter?
You don't have to tell me. I know. I was a TAG teacher assistant when I was in college. My mom has been in the school systems for long time and in the 90, we told her to retired. I saw it coming.
I’m not from Colorado, but I’m one of them. I was a tenured teacher in a public school. My oldest made it through Kindergarten. We left and have never looked back. My life, my spouses life, and our children’s lives have changed only for the better. It might blow peoples minds when you hear about “unschooling” but that is the exact methodology I have adopted for the education of my children. Beware of homeschool co-ops. They are mimicking the methodology of public schools.
My time in the public school system was a well needed one. God had me there for a reason. I got to observe how people work, how they learn, where they thrive, and what makes them tick. I made sure to spread a lot truth and light during my time.
What is Unschooling?
Unschooling is a child-led educational approach that emphasizes informal learning without a structured curriculum. It encourages children to explore their interests and learn at their own pace. This method is rooted in the belief that children are naturally curious and learn best when they are engaged in activities that interest them.
Key Principles of Unschooling
-Child-Led Learning
-Children choose what they want to learn.
-Learning occurs through everyday experiences and interactions.
-Parents act as facilitators, providing resources and support.
-No Formal Curriculum
-There are no set lessons or grades.
-Learning is integrated into daily life rather than divided into subjects.
-Assessment is based on real-life conversations and experiences, not tests.
Benefits of Unschooling
Personalized Education: Tailors learning to each child's interests and needs.
Flexibility: Allows families to adapt learning to their lifestyle.
Reduced Stress: Eliminates the pressure of formal testing and deadlines.
Getting Started with Unschooling
Engage with Your Child: Listen to their interests and questions.
Create a Supportive Environment: Provide access to resources that align with their passions.
Be Observant: Notice what captures their attention and encourage exploration.
Unschooling is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it can vary widely among families. The focus is on fostering a love for learning and allowing children to thrive in a supportive environment.
Sacramento will be eliminating 400 positions, San Jose is looking to close nine schools, Fresno is looking to close eleven schools, the list goes on. A high school near me has 6% math proficiency.
A smart endeavor would be to form cohorts where home schooling is achieved through small groups. I could see this effort to be very rewarding for all involved.
That’s why we have illegals kids, those libtards wanted this because they can bring their gangster to the school. In Naples Bonita Speings Fort Myers Cape Coral the schools have 99% of kids from Latin America countries. How about that?

Should be more up votes. The definition of jerk nowadays is someone with common sense.
I'm more than willing to be the jerk. I'm not trying to stomp out any woman's dreams, but I'm confident we were better off doing things the old way.
If you're a jerk, I'm a jerk too (and a super problematic one because I am a lady, dang it!). Marxists have been able to do the damage they've done by convincing women that

And who are these Marxists? Are they by any chance known for a particularly dominant facial feature?

I hope some day (probably when you least expect it) the perfect person comes into your life.
A woman's dream, and a mother's responsibility are not one and the same. Likewise the father. When you have children, your personal dreams are put aside, all your attention is towards your children. 100% agree. I just wanted to leave a bit of wiggle room for the occasional Amelia Earharts of the world to do their thing.
No you’re not. You are how every human operated for thousands of years.
You are not wrong...as you already know was done to dismantle the nuclear family. Oh I'm aware. They're the reason for the feminism that took us down this path.
Absolutely true. Kids who are homeschooled can finish their work much more quickly and efficiently, leaving them room for enrichment or field trips or just…time.
Lots more time to exercise and play. Very important

I know several homeschool kids and they are wonderful and intelligent adults.
My Wife and I were incapable of having kids, but if we had, I think that pod schooling would be a good way to go. A small group of home schoolers pool their resources and either teach themselves, or hire tutors in specific subjects to teach.
Lots of recess for the boys to keep them sane.
Couldn't enrolment be down because of deportations?
Birthrate decline was another thought. But that would be gradual, not sudden

I think so too.
We homeschool, and I would say about half the Moms we know who homeschool are former teachers. They know from the inside for sure!
Obviously. I have found that those homeschool children are a lot smarter than the ones from public school.
There should be ZERO enrollment.
It needs to change. I think schools still necessary but not this way.
Anything is better.
LOL
The cause is always the same socialist narrative, where students that are bad are so because the ones that are good had some "privilege".
School became a small scale representation of our society, giving "more help" to the dumb impulsive kids instead of rewarding the good students.
How do these teachers have time to homeschool their kids? I keep hearing how hard-working and devoted teachers are and how it takes up so much of their time after school hours even though they basically regurgitate the same class every year ad infinitum.
She is a former teacher. She stays at home with her kids now

Good for you. Take control of education at the critical node. Your front door.
Yes.

Very interesting way of looking at the world.
Know what we call that, don'tcha?

Yes.

I told former teachers to start doing stuff like this and look into working for themselves.
Lets hope that they are not training little marxists like they are in CANADA
I bet they are.
The origin of the recent mass shooting in Canada is marxism!
Oh. I thought it's Transtifa.
Schools don't mind it. They get to keep their property tax money all while serving fewer kids.
Oh you are right.
That’s why we have illegals kids, those libtards wanted this because they can bring their gangster to the school. In Naples Bonita Speings Fort Myers Cape Coral the schools have 99% of kids from Latin America countries. How about that?
Wow.
