FYI, Copperfield owns at least 2 private islands in The Bahamas. By Bahamian law, the privately owned part is the normal high-water tide mark. They are supposed to let boaters on the beach. At one of the islands, Copperfield does allow boaters on the beach, but there are signs posted all over the beach that people will be in danger if they go beyond the high water mark. At the other island that I know he owns, he has guards that run boaters off even if they get close to the shore.
