Expulsion? This is Congress. They’ll probably take an “I’m sorry” and a pinky promise to not do it again and consider the matter resolved

If it relies on a vote from those in office that is why. Who is uncorruptible enough to vote her out. Prison would be correct for her and she needs to be there, ASAP.

I long for the days when we see articles that tell us the consequences have already been administered. “Faces possible expulsion “ is really unacceptable. Way too much “exposure” of crimes these days, not enough consequences.

she may get a sternly worded letter... but NOTHING will happen... nothing EVER happens to selected politicians.

She better get prison. If she just is expelled from Congress, that is a slap on the wrist. Restitution of $5 million and prison time will teach other politicians a lesson.
Our only Constitutional remedy for corrupt politicians is to not vote for them next time. And they have effectively taken our vote away by rigging elections. No way they self regulate. No way.
