It's not up to POTUS to get rid of Thune, but the voters. This has been a movie to expose all of the deep state penetrations into the republican party. We have not been disappointed, just frustrated and gleeful, at the same time. The good voters will do what is necessary to make this situation palpable, and President Trump will cause Thune to face the reality of going against the best President in a long long time. Will the voters call for a special election to reevaluate Thune's position? We can certainly hope so.

Here's the "show more" portion: Thune is accused of stonewalling every single appointment, launching vulgar anti-Trump rants behind closed doors, and actively coordinating with McConnell and Schumer to undermine the Trump administration.

Don't forget that whistleblowers are often a key part of the psyop or disinformation scam. When a story line is headed in an unwelcome direction, not the direction the chief protagonist wishes it to go, or from distraction point is not getting attention intended a whistleblower pops up with an angle that tends to re-focus the narrative on the right path.
