Time to demand the basics in schools: reading, writing, arithmetic. Then add civics, science and physical education. No study halls. From kindergarten and up teach skills. If it can’t fit into the regular school day, once a month require a day of: learning how to repair, build or make something. At least twice/year require two 4 hour days of community service. For the very young it could involve twig pick up in a senior citizen’s yard, or for older children, raking leaves, shoveling snow, checking up on seniors every day. We need to bring back care, concern, empathy, and a sense of pride in our community.
What people say in their private life must have zero bearing on their business life. Freedom of speech must be the hallmark. But when you are representing a business, your country in competitions, or working for a business, you must present yourself within guidelines which are spelled out. These guidelines must not seem to demand or include espousing wokeism, intolerance or a certain political view if demanded by that entity and may be construed as violating one’s own person rights or beliefs.
If this is true, I hope all Walmart owners are on the list of those to be prosecuted. We know there are FEMA camps in the U.S. Why not use those for all the illegals instead of placing them in hotels which are being destroyed?
