Its fake news to claim this has some legal significance. This special grand jury the dimwit was a member of has no charging power. Depending on what GA law requires, either an actual grand jury returning a true bill to indict a defendant is required, or a complaint filed by the DA is required. And either of those acts will be independent of this moron chick and other fellow grand jury members.

I'm pretty certain that "bias" is not grounds to quash an indictment. If an indictment fails to charge an actual crime, that is one basis. If the grand jury did not hear any evidence that could support the charged crime, that is another. Witnesses that were not sworn in, or witnesses who lacked capacity to testify are other grounds.

You don't even need unanimity to return a true bill. Of course, every jurisdiction has different rules, but in a 16 person grand jury, only 12 yes votes would be needed in most places to return a true bill.

This person was likely selected for duty precisely for (quoting Borat here) having brain size of squirrel.

However, this special grand jury can't charge anyone. So anyone charged would have fun quashing indictments that weren't from this lunatic. I don't know if Georgia requires indictment by grand jury for felony offenses, or some felony offenses, or not. Every state is a bit different. Some states allow charging high level felonies via complaint and others must have a true bill from a grand jury.

If a true bill is returned, it will be from an entirely separate grand jury that likely does not have this idiot as a member. Would be fun to watch a judge roll their eyes at a lawyer even trying to bring this idiot up in the court room as it relates to their clients charges.

Not sure why the Ukrainians would want to make it more difficult for the people in charge of sending them grift money though. That seems like the type of bargain that would be unwise to participate in if you depend on the handouts because it would seem to result in receiving less aid than without doing this.

So what happens here when you attempt to point that out? You get down voted into oblivion. Because people are so righteously pissed off about what happened in 2020, and they never got past the first 19 pages of the bullshit complaint. So they think that SCOTUS has some viable claim that they can do something with. When it is actually the exact opposite. The only thing somewhat amusing about the entire charade is that several cucked judges and their clerks had to figure out the most expedient way of taking out the trash. And that gives me a little bit of joy, because 90% of the judges on either the state or the federal bench are just asshats. It’s rather awesome to think about them having to waste their damn time dealing with this.

But ffs, nobody should be giving these clowns money. In fact, as a pro se plaintiff, what real costs do these guys have besides filing fees? There should be no reason for them to need money; unless of course the entire purpose was fund raising…If they basically had to quit working in order to manage this case, that’s on them. A real lawyer would have less than a weeks worth of billable hours on this case. Stop sending money to anyone asking who has not produced. That is a fairly safe rule of thumb.

If I lie to myself and tell myself this case rests on solid legal grounds, this post is totally wrong. The issue in this case before the Supreme Court is NOT “if there is no penalty for breaking the oath of office, then why have it at all.” It is whether or not the district court has subject matter jurisdiction over the claims. IF SCOTUS heard this case, that is the only issue that would get decided.

The claims for relief arise out of contract law and tort law. So the issue is whether contract and/or tort law govern what Congress did when certifying the election. No serious legal scholar would argue it does. And that is why these grifters have been booted from the courts 3 times, and have asked to get kicked out a 4th time.

We moved away from public executions because public opinion was turning against the death penalty. So we invented truly cruel and inhumane methods like the gas chamber and lethal injection. Whoever thought it was a good idea to strap a dude to a chair inside a sealed chamber so he can choke to death over 20-30 minutes of inhaling poison gas was a true sadistic and sick fuck. Lethal injection is equally as abominable; its basically drowning someone, but a paralytic drug keeps everyone else from finding out.

I fortunately do not live in a Bolshevik state, but there are still plenty of places here "gun free." One should think long and hard about the consequences of violating those restrictions...but at some point, a person has to defend themselves - law be damned or not. If I were a college student, I probably would consider carrying regardless of any law to the contrary. There ought to be no way of that being found out unless you use the weapon. In which case, that was a decision to either die or become a felon. I'd take option 2 over option 1 every day. I’ve done enough yapping about what a joke this case is. You can search my post history if you’re so inclined. It is embarrassing that anyone thinks this case is going anywhere. No cognizable/intelligible/viable legal theory exists in their complaint. Only a bunch of jabbering about many of the egregious acts of bullshit that happened in the 2020 election.

If you are not legally inclined, you read that spiel that is basically 90% of their complaint and think that is their argument. You quit reading too soon. The last few pages are their claims for relief. Idiocy of the highest order. They have six of them:

1. promissory estoppel - trying to tie the 2020 election to a contract law form of equitable relief. Basically trying to claim people whom he never met or spoke to somehow have an agreement with him that they backed out of. Nope. Dead on arrival.

3. breach of duty - similar angle to 1 & 2 but trying to tie negligence theory to people he never met or spoke to, nor can he vote for. Elected officials do not have a “duty of care” to the public, the breach of which arises a viable negligence claim. Nope. Dead on arrival

4. intentional infliction of emotional distress - L. O. Fucking L. Wow. He went there. The retard level is self explanatory here.

5. fraud - not fraud as in the election was fraudulent. Fraud as in “fraud in the inducement.” Like “these guys told me they would uphold election law, and they didn’t.” But to be viable, would require “I wouldn’t have ever cast a ballot if I knew otherwise” to be considered fraud in the inducement. WTF? Nope. Dead on arrival.

6. civil conspiracy - no viable underlying tortious acts were alleged, accordingly no conspiracy is possible. Dead on arrival.
