Day 4 without power. My area looks like a third world country. But we have a generator keeping the food safe and staying night 3 in a hotel full of locals commisserating in the lobby. It could be worse. I have friends whose homes were severely damaged by falling trees, some cars in my neighborhood looked like they were karate chopped in half.
Last night I was watching an episode of Neighborhood Wars on A&E some psycho animal lover was screaming at a couple fishermen because one of the fish they caught was flopping on the sidewalk. So the psycho snatches the fish up and hurls it over the bridge, back into the water while screaming, "It's my duty to protect animals! If this were a dog on the street, would you save it??" The psycho ended up getting arrested and fined $500
I loathe the man.
