People like these get the endorsement and money of the Republican Party in Maine. I don't get it. I guess no one bothers to root out the RINOs in Maine and they have control. It would take an extensive and probably expensive grass-roots conservative revival. REAL Mainers would rather go fishing or hunting, and I am not kidding.
And they want to eliminate eating meat. Where will all those vegetables grow without irrigation?
Sheep, cattle, yaks, goats, reindeer etc. can feed on land much more arid than it takes to grow crops. Including tundra.

The native Indians did own slaves. I have seen that the first slave owner on our territory was a black man. Africans certainly saw nothing wrong with slavery on that continent.

I frankly do not know what is in school "history" books about it. School books are not serious historical sources after all.
