Ditto with my husband and me, except I’m the one doing most of the research while he plays his video games…lol. We often talk about how lucky we are that we’re both completely awake and on the exact same page, as I don’t think most people are.
I squeezed Maui in just in time… flew out 4 days before the fires. As moodyblue says though, there are some other amazing islands as well like Oahu & the Big Island (must see Volcanoes National Park). Not sure if I’d recommend staying in Hilo though, I was shocked that it was like a mini SF, all run-down w/ graffiti, homeless people, and druggies all over. A local told me other states like AK fly their homeless to HI w/ one-way tickets.

Unconscionable for a doctor to do this to a young impressionable girl. I can imagine the suffering she’ll go through later in life when she regrets this permanent mutilation.
