My 84 year old mom, who is a devout Christian, loves Trump, and is very based has had a bad week. She is suffering from pain in the right side of her neck, dizziness, and overall weakness. My sister rushed her to the ER yesterday, which my mom had been reluctant to go because she doesn't trust hospitals, where they did a slew of tests, but gave no clear results. I personally believe it's inner ear as she suffers from vertigo. But it's the weakness from an otherwise very fit woman, that has me concerned. She is not vaccinated and has never had a flu shot. I won't be on here till late this evening so I would like to thank any and all who would lift her up. Her name is Ernestine. Thank you Frens.

If it helps, my 82 year old dad works construction with me every day with me in the hot Texas sun. He is a beast, up on ladders, lifting beans etc, and on occasion he will experience exactly what you describe. Only recommendation is more h2o. He goes back to beast mode in the ensuing days.
I am not a doctor, but I had dizzy spells and vertigo for a few years. The symptoms suddenly became more severe after crawling around under a truck doing repairs one day. My doc called it Meniere’s Disease, he gave me some motion sickness meds and told me to try the Epley Maneuver. Both helped some, but not much or for long. A year or so later, I became sick, so I treated that with Ivermectin at 2 to 3 times the horse rate per day, for about a week. All dizziness is gone; has been for more than a year.

If her problem is low electrolytes, more water will make that worse. If she isn't getting the proper amount of water to begin with, you're probably right. However if she drinks water in normal amounts, it could be electrolytes like potassium or magnesium or calcium.
I agree. There are many good electrolyte products that are easy to add to water/beverage of choice with or without flavoring. I use ones from Keto Chow. They are liquid drops I put in my water. They do make a difference.

Update: Thank you all for taking the time to lift up my mom. I'm bawling as I write this from your kindness. She is at home resting and doing better. One of her carotid arteries has some blockage but otherwise she's in great health. She may have been a little dehydrated and they kept her on an iv for eight hours before sending her home. She will see her primary Monday. I told her you were all praying for her so we are expecting God's grace and healing. Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Thought I'd mention this just in case because it isn't well-known, but pain to the right side of the neck can be caused by an engorged/backed-up gallbladder which is pinching the phrenic nerve, which goes up the side of the neck and face. I had this and it caused me all the symptoms you described (but I don't have vertigo, though). I can provide more info on this if you're interested.

I believe Edgar Cayce, aka "sleeping prophet" has cured such illnesses with castor oil packs. I wish I was more resourceful with links to give you on this. I hope others here can help with giving more information and links.

We'll be praying for your mom. Same thing happened to a friend of mine's mom. She was a bit older than your mom, and no one could figure out what was happening until a nurse friend heard about it and said that older women can get UTIs but it doesn't manifest pain the same way it would younger women. Older women get dizzy and even fall down, etc. The docs missed that test. So they tested for that, and sure enough. They put her on antibiotics and she got better.

Grtdayn, I'm praying for your Mom and for you and your family.
Hope this won't sound woo woo but Oil of Oregano has helped my family through all types of illnesses and pain. We start with 5 drops in water the 1st 2 days and then go to 3 drops. Usually by Day 2, we feel better but keep taking them for a few more days. With your Mom's age, if she's interested, maybe she should start with only a couple of drops in a glass of water because it has a strong taste and running to the bathroom is not uncommon.
