Don't know about the infection but you will be surprised how well Ivermectin works to clear up all sinus issues. I've had sinus problems including infections twice a year for decades but that is all gone since using Ivermectin periodically. I use the liquid (injectable) by drinking it in a couple ounces of juice. Valley Vet dot com has 500mg bottles for $85 (will last a co0uple of years) and just measure it into the glass with a syringe (16-gauge needle is best).
