I’ve been building houses for 30 years. Seen a lot. This life ain’t for everybody. Work doesn’t flood your way, you have to go out and find it. You get zero vacation time. No paid benefits. No insurance. And penalized by the government for being self employed on your taxes. The job is hard. It’s hot, cold, and weather affects you daily. Everything you pay for. Gas, tools, insurance, licenses, advertising, the ups and downs. It’s not easy and it ain’t cheap. And you don’t get rich, by no means. Not the average guy. I see new people all the time. And the debt they’re in is more insane than your average college student. Cept the college student gets taken care of if they get a job on their degree. The self employed, you gotta get it. And then hand over a chunk of it to the tax man who helped you with nothing. I’m fourth generation builder in my family. And I lead my two sons away from this. People don’t have the money to pay you for your work most of the time. And you’re chasing down the rest of it. And even if you do a great job, you’re hoping you’re not taking to court by losers who want everything for free. The trades are not for the softhearted. Everything about it is hard. I had chances to go and do something else many years ago. And many times I regret not leaving this. My body is broken. My insurance sucks. And I’m hoping it stops raining so I can actually start the next house. Thankfully I learned how to budget my money decades ago. In this business if you live month to month, your already done. I can miss a year of work and be fine. But I also don’t own expensive things. And learned that having less is actually having more. We build a dang fine home though. And our rep for my area is very good. But that won’t be my legacy. Once I found Christ, I don’t care about all this and that anymore. My body isn’t gonna hold out. And that’s ok. I lean heavy on Christ nowadays. I’d rather be remembered as a person who loved Jesus than a builder. The builder name, ends with me. And I’m ok with that. I hope anyone who ventures into the trades good luck. As with any job. Don’t let it be all you are. It’s just a job. The smarter man makes more and works less. Look to God for help. Make Jesus a focus before money. And thank the Lord all this ends one day and we can finally rest.
Every man I know who was vaccinated, has had cancer. Mostly testicular cancer. Most lived, 7/10. Although some are still fighting it. Every woman I know who was vaccinated about …it’s about 50/50 had cancer. Death rate was higher tho. Out of 10, the 5 that got cancer, 4 died. The 5th is fighting cancer atm. The other 5 have health problems. All of them. Some severe. That jab was no joke.
And that’s how it’s written. People expecting utopia here on earth are delusional. We are pilgrims in a foreign land. It’s not home. We don’t “win” here. Satan does. He’s the prince of this world. But his end is written. God wins in the end. And those who follow Him. Christians men and woman make decisions, and should stand for what’s right. Even non Christians do sometimes. But only God will make the change. It’s His will. We try. We pray. But look to the Lord for help. The only one whose justice is righteous. We have a job tho. Tell of the gospel. Tell of Jesus. The only one who can save them, and us. Earth is the battleground. We have to ask ourselves sometimes, where do we place all our energy and work towards? A better earth? Or do we work for the Lord? Man sometimes I find myself exhausted working towards a better life. Making money, getting things, paying them off. The rat race. Acting like I’m gonna take it all with me. Total waste. Went to a funeral tonight. She loved the Lord. She’s happier right now than she’s ever been. Didn’t take anything from this place with her. Even left her broken vessel of a body. Makes me happy sometimes, knowing that this all ends eventually. And glory awaits. Heaven awaits. Sorry for getting off topic. Funerals do that.
No one ever “needs” an HOA. If I want stripes on my garage door, I thought I lived in America? I can’t do that to a house I own? Or don’t own, I make the payments. Doesn’t matter. If a person knowingly purchases a home within a HOA, don’t complain about when stuff goes bad. No one forced your signature on that piece of paper. You knew the risks. For the rest of us, live free.
I’m not from Florida, So it’s not up to me anyways, but many of these are past claims and personal life choices. I mean, not trying to be annoying here..someone could make a poster like that about anyone, and especially Trump. How has he voted? I’ve seen him go against political elites and do well. And even tho he’s not perfect, because no one is, Trump endorses him. That’s says a lot, as statistically he does well choosing folks. I think many would need to see a lot of “I say this but do this instead” behavior to go against him. Like a RINO. And personally I haven’t seen that from Bryon. But that’s me. I’m not in the know as some of you are.
They keep saying “the parents”…what race are they referring to? Statistically black people dont have both parents. They are lucky if they have one. Maybe a grandmother who still knows her name. And this is floating over to other races as well. The “family” is almost a negative term by standards today, according to the world. The deepstate hates the family. Whatever it takes to break families are what they are into. Heck, you can’t even show a black family on tv. Commercials or anything. Like it’s nonexistent. A black man and woman, together, raising a child…inconceivable!!
Christ Pratt stars in it? The Amazon prime series? It’s good.
My response to Trump would be, what are we gonna do about it. Their lies and deceit should be addressed. It’s not like me on a YouTube channel. This is a mainstream news platform that should be held responsible for their propaganda. Because no one is that wrong everyday all day. First amendment doesn’t qualify for “it’s allowed” to every sound coming out of someone’s mouth at any place and at any time. There are laws.
Basically what my wife does with her kcup coffee machine. She bought some stainless steel reusable cups for coffee grain, and just keeps the tank and stuff clean with vinegar as you mentioned. We took off our aerators awhile ago on our sinks.
Ive noticed everyone’s grass is looking different this year. I mean we’re almost in June. I was mowing almost twice a week last year at this time it was so thick and green. People will say drought as I’m in Tennessee. But there are no signs of a drought. Ponds are full, gardens are rich and green, trees and bushes blooming and growing like crazy, as usual. We get rain at least once a week. But the grass is 50% of what it was last year. Weird.
I would agree 100%
