Voted in Harris County today. Lines weren’t too bad and everything moved quickly. The atmosphere overall was very friendly. I get a little worried about how it’s going to be closer to Election Day, so I’m glad I was able to get it done as soon as early voting started.

The same Media Matters that got busted trying to purposely get advertisers to pull out of X by fabricating an extremist algorithm? Who’s got that Nick Cage “ya don’t say” meme?

I’ve been sleeping with rain sounds at night, decided to try the solfeggio frequencies instead. Gotta admit: I feel the difference! Thanks for reminding me that these frequencies are a thing! 🙏

I wasn’t referencing Roseanne in my comment. It was for the more fervent of our frens on the board. Idk about Roseanne, she’s Hollywood and all that but Hollywood also hates her and tried to strip everything away from her so clearly she isn’t as entrenched as she was. I guess time will tell when we get to the tribunals.

I agree with your take. It doesn’t help someone to stand in judgement over them when your goals are in alignment. I’ve softened quite a bit on Christianity since I was in my early twenties and I think it comes from an understanding that the “bible thumping” shit isn’t Christianity, it’s bad Christians. Don’t throw the baby out with the holier than thou bath water. I know some really good Christians you would never guess they were because they don’t force it on you…ever. It’s their relationship with God and Christ, not anyone else’s and it’s refreshing to know people can be comfortable in their own skins and beliefs to not have to foist it upon you with such vehemence. Hope more people come to this understanding in time.

I see so many people online and IRL falling for this and so shortly after Ukraine showing them the money is being embezzled and you should t trust anything MSM is saying. My roommate asked me to not talk about it because he didn’t know which side to support yet. The fact that he didn’t even consider not supporting either side bums me out but it’s not surprising. Some people clearly still have some waking up to do, if they ever do 😕

I like this thread so far. When it comes to this topic i.e. is it aliens or angels and demons or both? I think people let their own biases get into their conclusions. I always thought it was weird that you can have 100% certainty in your convictions on the topic one way or the other, because how can a human in their limited perception and perspective claim to know what God actually does or is? I think the truth is probably somewhere in the middle of Aliens and Angels, perhaps two interpretations of a similar concept across different levels of technology and historical context? I’m open to whatever the evidence shows but at the same time if the government or MSM is behind it I’m inclined to believe otherwise.

Andrew Huberman does a fantastic episode on fasting and intermittent fasting. There’s even an app you can use to help track it. I’ve been doing 16-18 hour fasts an average of 5 times a week, trying to make it every day eventually. Small goals are stepping stones to bigger ones 👍

I’ve also heard that using this doesn’t cause you to lose just fat but bone mass as well. If I’m not mistaken I heard Andrew Huberman mention it. That guy has blown my mind on dopamine and how addiction in general works. I highly recommend his videos on dopamine/forming and breaking habits/and fasting for trying to cut addictive foods, substances, or behaviors.

His video on this English lady making fried rice is fantastic.

I hear ya. All that feels intuitively correct to me. I just think most people whether it’s through fear or some other type of programming assume a point of view like that is the work of Satan. I think more likely these types of things are beyond human comprehension in terms of what we are physically capable of perceiving and that by getting outside your body I.e. near death experiences or trance like states whether drug induced or not can give you more of an unbiased look at these types of phenomenon.

A lot of people imprint their own ideas and values onto a force that is supposed to permeate all of creation and reality. I bought my roommate a poster of Jesus a long time ago with a quote that says “I never said that shit…” - Jesus. Pretty much sums it up for me.

Someone on here posted a YT link to an Andrew Huberman video talking about dopamine so I watched the longer version because it blew my mind. One of the things that causes a dopamine spike is hearing information that reinforces your own beliefs. Very interesting considering how vehemently people will defend their own points of view instead on genuinely trying to discern the information and question their own beliefs. Like someone earlier said: they value obedience over courage. I would also say they value fitting in over personal integrity.
