I listened to a good portion of the commission. Trudeau and Freeland are far from being the smartest people in leadership in Canada - neither are in their positions for their intelects. If nothing else, that was abundantly clear seeing various officials testify back to back.
People like Trudeau or Freeland are only the face. They are chosen BECAUSE they are empty suits.
One similarity between Trudeau and Freeland and a whole host of other politicians is that they are experts at talking a lot without saying anything.
They are rarely put into a position where they are pinned down and forced to provide answers. Even at this commission both Trudeau and Freeland knew that there were very tight time constraints on their examiners, so if the lawyer asking questions was from "the other team", the goal was simply to run out the clock.
That Miller got the confession out of Freeland was huge considering the circumstances.
Stew Peters is the new Alex Jones. If you want to lose credibility, spread his stuff around.
Imagine that! A Stew Peters upcoming video is the subject of an over-hyped post which is pinned on GAW!
Their only hope is to go all in.
Is it confirmed that PDT is the target of the investigation?
I think that you will find a good explanation here: https://youtu.be/oI1MaaTKfRc
Those are the best jokes: when you can get someone to mock you for being stupid which reveals the actual stupidity of the mocker.
Moreover, if there is violence, this gives the excuse for police to respond violently.
For the past few weeks I've been watching the commission investigating the declaration of the Emergencies Act in Canada, which was the government response to the trucker protests. This is going very badly for the government. After 4-5 weeks of testimony it is clear that the threshold for declaring the Act was not even close to being met.
Most of the representatives for the various government entities are more concerned with CYA than anything else, but at every opportunity, they will claim that the violence of the truckers caused the government response. When pressed on this issue, rather than actual physical violence, the "violence" they are actually referring to is honking and diesel fumes.
All that to say that the government is praying for violence so that a heavy-handed response can be justified.
That's the entire idea. Everyone knows that the protesters are actually violent. The tyrants just have to draw the violence out of the protesters by constantly provoking them.
He first came to my consciousness in the spring when he identified the biolabs in the Ukraine. That seemed to give him quick credibility for a large audience.
Since the spring, although there has not been a lot of biolab information, he continued to have a large voice.
I wonder if he is a type of Alex Jones figure: gain credibility by publicizing previously unknown (to the general public) info, appear to be one of us, and then lead followers astray at a key moment.
To date I have not seen any sign that the judge is being partial to one side or the other (I have been watching for this).
After 3 weeks of testimony from Ottawa city officials, police officers, convoy organizers, border blockaders, and now provincial (Ontario) politicians, no facts have come to light that suggest Canada was anywhere near needing to declare an emergency.
In fact, the opposite has been revealed. The border blockades were already gone, intelligence noted the lack of crime and violence, police had already been identified to help with the protest, tow trucks were available, and CSIS advised that declaring the Emergencies Act would likely have a negative impact let alone the fact that the circumstances did not justify the Act being used.
We'll have to see what the judge writes in the final report, but I don't see how the report can do anything other than condemn the actions of the Liberal government unless some incredible, previously unknown information is presented over the coming weeks.

He was conscious when transferred to the ambulance, so this incident may not have been fatal.

The lawyers for the commission, of whom this fellow was the lead, have been tasked with finding out what happened during the protests and whether the Emergencies Act should have been declared. In watching large parts of the hearing, my sense is that the commission lawyers have been quite impartial in their questioning.
Some of the lawyers representing some of the other groups, however, have been quite nasty. Unsurprisingly, the legacy media reporting on the hearing usually completely distorts what happened.
He was apparently conscious when moved to the ambulance.
Agreed. Some people seem to think that a switch can be flipped and all will be instantly turned right, but I think that is misunderstanding the situation.
We are in for a long, slow fight before things will be as they should. The Marxists have worked for more than 50 years to bring us to where we are today, and they are entrenched in every aspect of our society.
A sizeable portion of the population has only realized this recently so that an opposition can be started to avoid total communism. Prior to that, the Marxists were virtually free to slowly undermine all institutions without the awareness of the general population.
It is going to be a long and slow inch-by-inch all-out brawl to undo the damage that has already been done. We need more people awake to what has been happening to us, but by looking around, we can see that progress is being made.
Seems he regained consciousness before transfer to the ambulance: https://twitter.com/RyanTumilty/status/1590401413250940928?s=20&t=RW3oJf4-hJS19lZI5tzhUg
Because the qualifications of the candidate are not as relevant as the team the candidate is running for.
I know and know of people who have experienced this.
What was the date of the pipeline sabotage?
Hopefully the peace can last and the people can be relieved of their suffering.
It seems as though this is likely to be a translation problem - either by the original author or by someone translating the work. It seems as though the author may have conflated cardiac arrest with suffocating or smothering, which both cause the heart to stop beating (cardiac arrest).
Video from the event showed heaps of people piled on top of each other, which seems to have been due to a panicked crowd in a confined space.
After the recent missiles in Poland event, I don't know how anyone can believe that Russia was responsible for shooting down MH 17.
