I keep realizing how absolutely evil the world has been. I also keep realizing how brainwashed I was. Now I try to keep my mind open... Question of the day for me: Is there ever anything the news wrote that was real? Could they really have faked the moon landing? Last year I laughed at people who claimed it was faked, now... I don't know. Maybe the Earth is flat? I question it all now, and research what matters to me.

Way to go! For all of my students: I start by telling them about my friends that served and died for our country. I then say, when I say the pledge I think if them, I think of what they gave their life for. The absolute least I can do is remember they lived their country more than their lives.

Teaching Social Studies this way is HARD! Where are the books? Where are the quick videos kids "learn from?". As a teacher I have started to realize: I have no time to create content. I teach too many students, have too many classes, and the kids have too many needs. They can't write or read in cursive; so board writing takes me longer. Their reading levels are lower (the Fountais and Pinnel reading system is at fault here.) I have EBD, and SPED kids who need special lessons, but must be taught in thr same class as their peers (Obama's No child left behind at fault here). I am a Godly Patriot trying to teach my students to think critically, love the USA. while living a life that is an example. I need parents to stand up and demand truth be taught in schools, which will make Truth more available for all.

IMO - when God fearing folk do whatever they think they should do without testing to see if that is the Lord's direction for their lives... they fail. If I were to have done what I thought I should, I would have stayed in the corporate world making much more money than I do as a teacher. I am a patriot, I am a Christian, and I am a role model for my students.
