That doesn’t make them weak.
That is not the way I read it. Rather, rest in God’s sovereignty. For the most part, people here are not saying that it is going to be easy or not painful or that we might not lose everything physical. The people here have just decided that there is a line that they won’t allow to be crossed and since the decision has been made, they actively rest in God’s sovereignty while also preparing physically, emotionally, and spiritually for what seems to be coming.
IMO - when God fearing folk do whatever they think they should do without testing to see if that is the Lord's direction for their lives... they fail. If I were to have done what I thought I should, I would have stayed in the corporate world making much more money than I do as a teacher. I am a patriot, I am a Christian, and I am a role model for my students.
