So you literally think Elon deserved to have one of his vehicles detonated as a terrorist attack on Trump Tower because of his tweets?
Don't tell me about sad, imbecile.
"Elon did that to himself mate."
This is an utterly insane statement.
Elon did a poor job of articulating the need for talented immigrant engineers, even worse at accounting for the destructive scam that is the H-1B visa program, but to say that he "did this to himself" after providing a platform that actually allows for a degree of free speech, to say nothing of educating and red pilling the public, is fucking RETARDED.
Elon is not immune to criticism. I can write pages. But I wonder what's going through your mind and the 4 idiots that upvoted you.
Very few things will be more important in this 4 year term than dismantling the corrupt IC.
If DJT and his allies cannot accomplish this, little else matters.
It's been disappointing to see the lack of nuance in this discussion/fight on X. I'd argue that it's been better on GAW but still plenty of black/white/all or nothing takes.
Elon is right in that in order to maintain tech & AI dominance in the coming years, talented engineers must be imported to fill out the ranks of American companies.
However, Elon completely ignored the problems and abuses of the H-1B visa system, to say nothing of the constant abuse dished out by U.S. companies who still regularly wipe out entire tech departments and replace them with middling level 1 "technical people" in India.
Elon deserved to get some serious heat for the lack of nuance in his comments.
However, the Laura Loomer's of the world missed the boat as well on the primary point because Elon is not wrong. If we want to be dominant, it will take years of cultural & economic change to have enough homegrown engineers.
I'm hoping that even with the lack of nuance, getting this subject out front and center will be a good thing and will eventually settle down into a proper national discussion. The solutions are pretty simple. Just enable the best and brightest to come here, but talented American engineers / technical people get priority.
Could not agree more, CC. Zero nuance to the conversations happening on X right now.
As you said, a big part of this conversation should be about fostering more Americans to get STEM degrees.
But we've got to fix the H-1B mess AND this approach of American tech companies treating workers like they're potato chips that can just be tossed on the floor, then reach into the bag to grab more.
It's a disappointingly black & white conversation that's happening right now.
I don't want to annex Canada.
I want to conquer Canada.
I thought Swift did endorse Camel? Or am I mis-remembering?
Doubtful.
Just different priorities and perspectives.
Elon needs talented engineers to further his empire. He is correct in regards to the need to import them as we don't have enough in this country to fill demand.
However, he needs to acknowledge and propose solutions for the problem of companies hiring immigrant engineers instead of qualified American engineers due to the financial compensation and employment control advantages. No qualified American engineer should lose out on a job because a company wants to take advantage of lower pay and complete control over that person's employment (If you're on an H-1B visa, you're tied to the company that brought you over).
That shit needs to end immediately.
To say nothing of laying off American technical people in favor of hiring cheap technical labor in India. There needs to be a prohibitively hefty price for doing so.
The secret war continues.
For those of you unfamiliar with the details of the American Revolutionary War, there were countless moments that should have been the end for the rebels.
Many times it was if the hand of God was guiding the birth of this nation.
So many things had to go right. And may we always remember that revolution and birth of a nation occurred not because the colonists were unified, but because a small percentage of noble, committed patriots would tolerate nothing less than freedom.
I doubt that there's a soul on GAW that hasn't felt alone at times. Friends and family that shrugged their shoulders at the 2020 election. Those same friends and family not willing to listen to your pleas to not get the C19 jab. Friends and family that refuse to understand that genuine evil is very real and very influential in the world we live in.
On this Christmas, please remember that you are not alone. Know that other, oft-lonely patriots are everywhere and we are all committed to restoring this Republic.
Merry Christmas, my friends.
I would argue that this is more of a reference to the shadow government that controls the Deep State rather than the Deep State itself. The latter are simply a mix of self-interested bastards, idealogues and puppets.
It's gratifying to see the term "Deep State" become part of the public lexicon. But now I want the public to understand the existence of the "Shadow Government". They're ready for it.
There's zero reason for regular people to have cars. What do you people need them for? People having the same cars that the government has is not what the Founders intended.
So you clearly haven't been paying attention to this story despite it being the 2nd biggest news story of the past three months, yet you're trying to challenge my assertions.
Several of the drones have been viewed at altitudes over 5k feet.
"How, exactly, would drones chase away anything that can outrun them by factor of 10 or greater?"
Again, I'm going to assume that you have not studied the UFO phenomenon. Jets and Helicopters (both of which are far slower than the average UFO/UAP) have been scrambled countless times over the years to chase away UFO's/UAPs hovering over either populated areas or military bases. And no, they cannot catch them. But these UAPs tend to loiter, zip away, then loiter again.
It bears mentioning that there are drones that can match or exceed the speed of a CH-47.
As to why the UAP's allow themselves to be chased away by inferior tech, you'll have to ask whomever is piloting them.
"You have too much confidence in AI".
I have no desire to lose my security clearance so suffice it to say that there are contractors that are far, far further along than others.
Again, I really don't understand the purpose of your comments. These are subjects you clearly haven't researched yet you're challenging assertions. There's coverage on the drone story everywhere. As to UAPs, that's a far bigger subject to tackle, though it's one I would encourage everyone to become familiar with before the 2026/2027 time range.
And yet there are innumerable accounts from confirmed military personnel of jets and helicopters chasing UFOs/UAPs.
It is presumptuous to call them nap of the earth drones. Plenty of them over NJ have been at higher altitudes. Regardless, modern military drones possess flight characteristics on par with military copters. Far more convenient and with a shorter response time to release AI-guided drones to chase away non-human undesirables than risk human pilots who were just roused from bed.
Would LOVE to hear more commentary from you, Anosha!
We have so many pedes from around the world on GAW and I for one really enjoy getting your perspectives on events.
Regarding this statement: "The main challenge is that they often think that their TV news is distorting the truth about the west when it’s actually very based and accurate."
I would love to hear an example or two of this if you have time.
Perhaps the most frustrating thing back in early 2020 was the number of Trump voters who refused to believe that the election could have been rigged. A lot of well-meaning people who just didn't want to accept living in a world where a Presidential election could be stolen right in front of them.
It is gratifying that we've reached a point now where there's broad understanding that the election was stolen. But my oh my was it maddening at the time.
And probably a lot of overlap between the people who couldn't believe a Presidential election was rigged and people who couldn't believe that the Western medical industry would knowingly poison us with C19 "vaccines".
Well, FWIW you have one person here who believes you because while I haven't had experiences of your magnitude, I've had plenty of weird ones and spent a few decades researching and interviewing.
There is a long history of these energy shaped craft that often change shape into more traditional flying disks then back again.
On a thread about the drones from around a week ago, I put up a long comment after talking with an agency friend. At the time, we were both leaning towards a "broken arrow" situation, but the other scenario was this:
(From my comment a week ago):
"Interestingly, the other theory he mentioned is that these drones could be a response to real UAP's in the area. As some of you know, there is a long history of UFO's/UAP's being seen by citizens where within 5 minutes, there are either military helicopters or military jets on the scene in hot pursuit.
As he put it: "That scenario has happened countless times over the years. There are certain types of UAP's/UFO's the military has deemed as undesirables and they want them chased away, to say nothing of the public exposure when one of those suckers just sits over a town with everyone to see.
So they want to chase them away, but the problem is you've gotta scramble jets or helicopters for that and they need pilots, pilots that may not be quickly available in the middle of the night. So there's some logic in having a drone swarm with high loiter times to do the chasing for you, especially if you can leverage a combination of AI and manual control."
While I don't approve of Clandestine apparently using this photo without attribution, as far as I know, he did quite a bit of research on the labs themselves based off of that photo.
Seems like much ado about nothing (unless there's additional info I'm not aware of).
This is a really important speech by Logan.
Great post, OP. This should be stickied for a bit.
No doubt what Dem politicians and "leaders" want to get rid of it.
Dem voters on the other hand want to get rid of it because they're brainwashed imbeciles that know absolutely nothing about civics or why the Electoral College exists.
That always seemed like a lost opportunity to me on the part of the GOP and even the Libertarian party. The "abolish the Electoral College" idiocy has been going on ever since the 2000 election and then reached a fever pitch in 2016. There could/should have been some official attempt to educate the masses on why the Electoral College exists and why it's important.
Granted, only a small percentage would have understood it, but you have to try. Thank God the election this year was too big to rig, otherwise we might be witnessing serious attempts to end the EC right now.
She writes like a damn psychopath.
Now make out.
I fully support an invasion.
And we have people on GAW literally saying that Elon brought this on himself for his tweets.
