I agree with this. I didn't get the COVID vaxx and advised everyone in my family to refuse it, although only my youngest son refused it. I still went through regret and recrimination for vaccinating my kids when they were little and then getting the same vaccines when I went through nursing school. It was a hard and humbling realization, but it helps me to empathize with COVID vax regret. I feel especially bad for those who did not want to get it but succumbed to financial and economic pressure from employer mandates that have now been lifted.

This is what I've observed.

Maintaining the illusion requires taking continuous hormones that can further destabilize an already fragile mental state and cause additional health problems as well along with possible surgical modifications and complications. Living that lie every day has to be emotionally, physically, financially, and spiritually draining.
