Maybe. But betting on incremental progress w/respect to this stuff has always paid off more than expecting "the big one" to land..

Also Trump was charged with 34 felonies.

I've been following the DNC machinations in response to the timing of their convention relative to Ohio election law and basically from an event planning standpoint it's not possible to move the convention. People have hotels & flights book, catering, etc.

What they ended up doing was scheduling an online meeting in advance to nominate their POTUS candidate. So something like that could be done.

It's a pander op.

There was probably a legitimate bill brought forward that the cabal needed to railroad so they initiated this pander op. Look for recently sidelined LA bills and you'll likely see what they really feared.

No way for us to know TBH.

Hope to see Rand as Senate leader someday. He's settled in very nicely. Hopefully he goes out after passing term limits.

If you look to the precedent Russia set in Chechnya I think you can feel good about the prospects of Russia/Ukraine relations long term, though it'll be grim in the early days.

Not sure why folks are cheering here unless they expect the state to use their tax dollars to take this all the way to the Supreme Court for a new precedent...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_v._Graham

The Court concluded that because "requiring the posting of the Ten Commandments in public school rooms has no secular legislative purpose," it is unconstitutional.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon_v._Kurtzman

The three parts of the Lemon test are Purpose, Effect, and Entanglement. Has LA satisfied those?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCreary_County_v._American_Civil_Liberties_Union

What is the primary purpose here? What nuance is the bill adding that it won't be shot down legally? Does this legislation give you good "feels" and make you angry when you see it questioned? If so it's likely that you're being emotionally manipulated away from things the cabal doesn't want you focused on.

Why is LA pursuing this instead of other low hanging fruit like pride or BLM flags in public spaces?

Why are LA conservatives pursuing legislation that they know will give their constituents "the feels" but will almost certainly be shut down?

Fund raising? Division? Running out the clock on real legislation? What should they have been working on that they brought this up instead?

Think. Liberals aren't the only demographic that can be emotionally manipulated.

It seems like the simplest way to get rid of the rainbow flags is a public free speech lawsuit that places a "God Hates Fags" message next to it.

Satanic Temple wins these cases all the time. Lot cheaper than vandalization and potential for a payout if the city digs in and blocks it.

Thank you fren. I always thought the nastiness that we see publicly between D and R was the worst but it doesn't even begin to compare with the internal party nastiness that is hidden from view.

The second I got involved I had an oh shit moment where I realized the problems were much deeper rooted than my skeptical self ever imagined. Just have to put my head down and work my little sector as honestly as I can tell more momentum builds.

If it's any comfort, I think enough public support is there for medical freedom that a big player like Trump can get us there even though local politicians have betrayed us.

Elon is taking X to a very good place. Pseudo anonymity seems to be the sweet spot for most of the public. Community Notes hasn't jumped the shark yet in the fact checking department.

People are learning the process of becoming the news there. Including the challenge of having to check things ourselves.

X is not a safe place for someone who wants to remain ignorant..

There are some very well-built chemo and heart related facilities in my region.

Seems like they do quite well for themselves, yet somehow more people than ever have cancer and heart problems? Confusing.

Sales of our common stock, if any, under this prospectus supplement may be made by any method permitted that is deemed to be an “at the market offering” as defined in Rule 415(a)(4) under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Securities Act. The Sales Agent is not required to sell any specific number or dollar amount of shares of our common stock, but will act as our sales agent and use commercially reasonable efforts to sell on our behalf all of the shares of common stock requested to be sold by us, consistent with normal trading and sales practices of the Sales Agent, on terms mutually agreed between the Sales Agent and us. There is no arrangement for funds to be received in any escrow, trust or similar arrangement.

https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/1326380/000132638024000020/gme-20240524.htm

On May 24, 2024, GameStop Corp. (the “Company) announced that it has completed its previously disclosed “at-the-market” equity offering program (the “ATM Program”). The Company sold the 45,000,000 shares of its common stock registered under the ATM Program for aggregate gross proceeds (before commissions and offering expenses) of approximately $933.4 million. The Company issued a press release announcing the completion of the ATM Program, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and the information in Exhibit 99.1 is incorporated herein by reference.

What I want to know is the who/what/when/where of this sale that legally had to be an "at the market offering", yet somehow landed at the commsy price of $20.741 per share?

I also think it's interesting that Jeffries is involved here as they are the firm that has that long-standing short position on deleted shares that they refuse to close.
