Good!
A little aside but I read this the other day. It’s an interesting article about declining college enrollment. They predict it will fall off a cliff after 2025.

Honestly, I hate it when anyone uses the term “pussy” for any female reference. It’s disgusting. How can a female do that? A pretend judge female?
Horrifying.
projectile vomits
How does a human dumpster fire like this get to be a judge?
But he won’t have to have a cognitive test, they won’t look at his gait or his hand tremors, won’t do an EKG to make sure he’s still alive and he won’t have to have his blood work or UA done because that’s ageism or some such BS.
If you don’t have much time today... watch the first minute.

I’ve learned a lot from him. He’s been a big inspiration as far as changing my diet, learning about the lies put forth by big food, big pharma, big cancer, etc. I lost 40 pounds and my last lab tests were stellar except for cholesterol. I don’t care. I will not ever take statins. You would have to force me, from what I know about them.
Cholesterol can be high from genetics, stress and other factors but dietary cholesterol doesn’t cause high cholesterol. When you get a fasting blood work test.. the fasting period causes your body to dump cholesterol into your bloodstream. Glucose, as well. Smoking can cause high cholesterol. So can lack of exercise. So there are a lot of variables but from what I’ve learned, the most important thing is to avoid insulin resistance and diabetes. Look at your metabolic profile. Is your A1C optimal? That’s one of the most important factors to look at.
I do intermittent fasting and a ketogenic diet but I would not say I’m super strict about it. I focus on low carbs. Avoiding fructose. Avoiding processed foods. I cut out breads, pasta, starches (i.e. potatoes) fruit juice, desserts and beer to begin with. I eat like a horse and was able to get the weight off I gained after getting out of the military. I’ve learned how to cook, I can eat dairy again, allergies and digestive issues are mostly gone just by following Dr Berg’s suggestions and branching out from there.
It’s BS to think eating Cheerios and oatmeal are going to fix the problems many people have. It’s not so much about cholesterol as it is highly processed food and sugar. Baby steps. I highly recommend this guy. He’s inspiring.
You’ve been here about as long as I have. I take breaks every week, for the most part. We all have lives outside of here and you have to take care of yourself or you’re no good to others. I look forward to yours and all the other “old timer’s” posts and comments. You don’t know how valuable you are but trust me, it’s a loss for everyone without you here. Hang in there.
I just woke up LOL those are spicy chips though!

I don’t really have an answer for you but I know several Russian hockey players who live in Oldsmar, FL who seem like amazing people. They say there is a large population living there. Coincidentally, Oldsmar was was the site of a cyber attack on a water treatment plant in 20-21.

This is just some ramblings of an overtired person. Have a good night.
I like Ben as VP, myself.
He should give up his pretend job
gentle ripples form on top of moat water as swimmer makes the 30 second underwater crossing
Ugh. I’ve been considering it but.. then again, I don’t know many people with one. Walkie-talkies then, eh? LOL I have them already.
My bird listens to WSMR when I go out. She’s fancy. She likes baroque the best. Hates opera. So when you break it down... the 5 people and/or animals listening to that station.. I wonder what percentage actually likes opera on Sundays? Soros, most likely. He seems like an opera type of dude. Drinking his sherry or whatever, wearing a jacket with patches on the elbows...and a squishy diaper. Ok, I’ll stop.
We won’t forget him! Never!
Yeah, good question. Should we get a landline?
Twelve hundred!!!
Yes, still holding. Amen, brother. Thanks for all you do and for the daily HTL posts. It’s always good to start the day in prayer.
At this point, they’d have to pay ME to watch it. I’ll do something productive with my time.
Don Jr still follows Trump Sr. Idk shrugs
Also.. it’s easy to accidentally unfollow someone if you click on their profile haphazardly. I’ve done it.
TuckerCarlson.com is supposed to air it without a pay wall.
Let’s hope so.
Terribly..
LOL yeah! 2010-“A-list” celebrities such as Kevin Costner, Sharon Stone, Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Gérard Depardieu, Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel attended a children's charity benefit in St. Petersburg, Russia where Putin sang.
There are a lot of sources but here is one.

It’s so bad it’s good, LOL. Every time I hear it, I’ve got it stuck in my head with his thick accent.
You’ve got it. Hermit Crab is in my sincere prayers.
“If you’re a Veteran having thoughts of suicide or concerned about one who is, reach 24/7 crisis support through the new Veterans Crisis Line (VCL) number: Dial 988, then Press 1”
https://news.va.gov/124415/exploring-psychedelics-treatment-of-veterans/
I don’t know what state he lives in but I know many vets who’ve had great success using psychedelics for treatment of PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and substance abuse. You may want to suggest that to him and research the legal options available in his state.
Also- I take Propranolol which is a beta blocker. It helps tremendously with anxiety, ptsd and headache from traumatic brain injury. It’s been a a miracle for me. There are no notable side effects but it helps tremendously from that adrenaline dump you get when having anxiety and levels out emotions. It’s a very inexpensive drug. I hate big Pharma but this one med I can definitely recommend.
The VA puts everyone in SSRI’s, benzos and addictive sleep agents and it makes things worse. Especially since many vets drink alcohol to self medicate. The combo is life threatening. I could help more if I knew some details but also respect his privacy. Just giving some suggestions. Usually, the person gets stuck in a hopelessness cycle and there is absolutely hope and a way out of the nightmare. Tell him we all care and will help in any way possible.
