I don't trust the guy. But he can stay over there in Florida and if he does his job well there and supports Trump and his next admin I will be fine with him.

yes definitely think ^ was the case. DeSantis' campaign material, etc. was similar to DJT's. and they had lots of press coverage because of their 'feud'.

Mmmmm I disagree. This has been a slow build up. Many people were pretending they were rdy to move on from Trump.... There were court cases, smear campaigns, jan 6 bullshit, etc, etc.

I wouldn’t worry about this new Trump/DeSantis “feud” as I’m thinking it’s probably a ploy. There are a lot of voters new to the Republican Party as of this midterm, who left the Dems due to the current state of the country. They voted red this election for Congress, etc., but these people have been brainwashed by the media for seven years against Trump and aren't likely to vote for him in '24. Why not give them another option in DeSantis, to keep them in the Rep Party? This also works to get the anti-Trump GOP establishment behind DeSantis. All these people get onboard the DeSantis '24 bandwagon over the next year and a half, then at the last minute DeSantis drops out of the Presidential running to be Trump's running mate (VP). Then the Trump/DeSantis ticket gets all those voters... At least that’s the explanation that makes the most sense to me as of now.
I said a year and half (18 months) and it happened today, just over 14 months since this text message. As far as the part about being Trump's VP pick, in hindsight I'm no longer expecting that, but I guess it's still on the table.
