If you remove interest, then you remove borrowing except for out of the goodness of the lender's heart. There would be no such thing as 30 year mortgages or even 10 year mortgages. People would have to save up before they could own a thing and no longer increase their lifestyle before they had earned the money for it. This would be great for a person to do, but not many do. I'm not saying you are right or wrong, just that everything would have to change.

I have saved massive amounts of money by not borrowing and not using insurance. Now I make money by renting and financing property. I suppose that makes me an evil sinner, but 100% of the people I finance would not be able to own property or even rent a place without someone like me - as things are now.

Obviously it would be stupid for me to loan money at no interest because 25 to 30% of people never fully pay their loans off. Also, If I loaned 25,000 for 10 years at no interest, then I get back 25,000 over 10 years but it's only worth 15,000. Why would anyone do that?

There's a lot more to it, but that is just a bit of it from the evil side.

Unrealized gains are not gains ... they are risks.

Well, to add to the strangeness - The normal site that I use to check earthquakes, shows 0 activity for La Palmas over the last 12 hours. We know that there were 135 earthquakes yesterday. We know a 4.4 mag earthquake and others happened today

Why all of a sudden no data for La Palma?

http://quakes.globalincidentmap.com/

Here is another site that shows different data

https://www.volcanodiscovery.com/la-palma-earthquakes.html

I'm not seeing a grid pattern of the quakes there.

I used Webull because I had money already sitting there. I was able to get verified and fund the account quickly. I don't know if it has the same dirty evil issues that Robinhood does though

I guess I should have added that what I presented is harmed by powerful corporations and lobbyists gaming the laws to their advantage and crushing competition. Those things need to be fixed.

A company should pay the minimum amount of wages that they can while retaining a complete work force and still provide the quality of service or product they wish to. I think it's as simple as that. Companies and employees owe each other nothing more or less than what they create a contract for.

One thing that has bothered me from the beginning - If the governments issue their own digital currency, won't the first thing they do is ban the use of other coins?

I have a newsflash for you that will surely blow past you like the wind. You need not understand a single word of Greek to understand the Gospel. Salvation is not reserved only for pseudo-intellectuals.

You did not address what I pointed out.

Everyone knows what an enemy is. It included Romans of which you had excluded by saying the verses were only for Israel and God's people.

You miss the forest for the trees, and you are taking and presenting things out of context.

God wants us to love our enemies. And by love, I think He means by how we treat them. I know it's hard, but it is what God wants.

I especially do not like that you quoted James 4:4 because that verse is talking about being like the world and supporting the world in its rebellion against God and committing sin.

Showing love and even compassion for your enemies is no sin. It is commanded by the Lord.

I understand what you are saying, but there is no saving the economy. You cannot print trillions of dollars like they have and everything be okay. It has never turned out good for those who don't own the assets.

I would say that each and every medical decision is mine to make. I feel like they are trying to set you up to try and make you take a non mRNA vaccine down the road. "See, right here you said that you were not opposed to traditional vaccines"

And what of "If someone compels you to walk a mile". Was that not referring to the Roman practice of using the populace as their personal porters? Would that not clearly identify the Roman as being included in the rest of the chapter? Which also contains the following: "But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you"

I believe that there is enough in the Bible to show God's mind on forgiveness absent the posted verse. In many of the below verses, I don't see any requirement for the offender to do anything to get your love and forgiveness. I don't think that any of it prevents us from stopping evil or protecting others from evil, though. I agree that we are at war.

Proverbs 20:22 Do not say, "I will avenge this evil!" Wait on the LORD, and He will save you.

Proverbs 24:29 Do not say, "I will do to him as he has done to me; I will repay the man according to his work."

Matthew 5:40 if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;

Luke 6:30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what is yours, do not demand it back.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Matthew 7:2 For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 18:35 That is how My heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."

Mark 11:25 And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well."

Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.

Colossians 3:13 Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Love Your Enemies (Luke 6:27–36)

38 You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’o 39But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well; 41and if someone forces you to go one mile,p go with him two miles.q 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

43 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’r and ‘Hate your enemy.’ 44But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,s 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even tax collectors do the same? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same?

48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

why is this board so crappy at formatting text

I have a theory (economics)

What the FED fears more than anything is deflation. After all, they get a nice little chunk out of each and every transaction men make.

Interest rates are already squadoosh.

They have no more arrows in their quiver to stave off a collapse.

They just printed a big ole stack of Benjis, and inflation is peaking out of its cave ready to eat everyone's lunch. It can do that for a while until all the lunches are gone, and then no one has any money to buy more. Then the price starts dropping dramatically because what's the point of buying it when it's just going to be snatched away from you. As the price visibly falls from day to day, people say, "Hey I think I'll wait until tomorrow when I know the price will be cheaper." Then it's on like Donkey Kong, prices contracting until the people making lunches say, "Well, this isn't worth it"

What can someone do when they are on the wrong side of the supply and demand rule? I think of dairy farmers tossing out all of their milk

They could restrict the flow of goods so that demand is higher than supply. Maybe even prevent products ordered from being delivered. Genius!

But then what of the rising prices due to inflation mangled together with printing money, higher demand, and no one having any money left?

Let them eat cake!

Since they have all of the assets of the world, they don't care about inflation. What they care about is what the "value" of their assets retain. When things crash as they always do, it's asset holders that rise from the ashes to enslave your children. It's been done over and over.

Sir! Bring me but one more currency, this one seems to have a fly in it.

But, I literally saw you put the fly in it!

I haven't really looked into it, but I bet those pesky rich are gathering up as many hard assets as they can.

Or maybe they are just trying to kill us

Either way, enjoy the apocalypse
