I don’t think that it should be hidden. It’s one thing to hide the names of the service members when it’s a military only accident, but this accident killed 60+ other people and destroyed millions of dollars worth of air craft. Transparency is paramount at this critical juncture.

I’m going to reserve judgment for now. This feels very manufactured and it’s almost like it’s designed to get everyone talking and focusing and discussing H1B Vosas. Do I think that we should get the best talent from foreign nations? Of course. However, that isn’t what the H1B visa program is being used for— it’s just another way to destroy America from the inside with outside actors. Apathy is real, and being a straight white male is horrible for today’s tech market. So of course we are demoralized and feeling listless. I spent five years in Afghanistan as a contractor and coming home saw the covid lockdowns, losses of multiple job opportunities, rejected applications, and of course that ever present useless ass degree I was tricked into getting. All of my work experience is outside of my degree, and the defense industry is actively hostile and not a place I feel like working in. I haven’t had a job in four years because I don’t want to just… work at the gas station down the road or stock store shelves. I had a great job overseas, really rewarding, and it paid great as well. I just didn’t believe my co-workers who’d been over there longer than I had when they said that coming overseas for an anything more than a year was a mistake. Lol Inflated sense of self-worth and huge paychecks.
Now that I truly know how bad stuff is I don’t want to be involved in the industry anymore and I now have to figure out just what the hell interests me enough to do full time.
I really want to have my own ammunition business because reloading is my hobby that I enjoy, and nothing is better than seeing a barrel of spent casings and turning it into functional ammunition again but man I dont know where to start and I doubt the ATF makes it easy to get involved in the industry.

Evolution seems like a poor choice of wording to use for any entire, complete exercise. Now, if it progressed from one type of “incident” to another type of incident in the same exercise I could see it being an “evolution”. Like a fire department and police department starting an exercise as something like... a fire drill becoming an arson, and then evolving into a mass casualty/shooting event (to simulate the fire being a way to draw in first responders). That would be an “evolution” in my eyes, but it sort of sounds like some buzz words a civilian might say to impress a bunch of other more civilian civilians.

All of the people who looked at this, saw this mistake, and allowed it to go through without pointing it out did this man dirty. lol
So I finished it, though I was greatly saddened that the one man who rightfully bit the dust, Scorpion... well the scene wasn’t very well coreographed. It doesn’t have to play out like some Jason Bourne or Mission Impossible fight sequence, but I would have very much preferred it if the violence was short, quick, but very visceral. The whole blurry and indistinct sequence was not a satisfying pay off, at least something to let the audience take pleasure in seeing evil get put figuratively six feet under. Tim Ballard was so much taller than the Rebel Boss, and from what I’ve been told 14 pounds of pressure is all that is needed to break a neck, so instead of having a very bad fight sequence they could have just had Tim put him in a rear naked choke and put that height to use- grasp, squeeze, strain, and then pull.
Overall a very good movie, one that greatly put a damper on my mood for the 4th, but then I think about how many kids on our own streets will go missing today alone? How about all over the world?
All in all, this needs to be shown in every theater nation wide. It needs to be blasted to the heavens. The people who aren’t awake need to wake up and they need to get angry. The people in power facilitating this need to see justice, and that justice only has one inevitable conclusion.

Watching the Sound of Freedom now, and I guess we’re halfway through (yes, I’m that guy using his phone in the movie theater, lol). But damn is it painful to watch all of this. I know, and have known for a long time what goes on behind the scenes for years now because I’ve been paying attention but it’s one thing to know and another to see it painted out for you in such sickening detail. I’m hoping that we’ll see some action here, of the John Wick/Terminal List variety, though I know that this isn’t that kind of movie. I just need that catharsis.
I hope that the millions of Americans out there watching this on the day we celebrate freedom feel this intense pain and anger that I’m feeling watching this movie.
