Last week I saw photos of a rather oblivious friend of mine (who is very pro-mask) wearing a bunch of pink "breast cancer awareness" regalia at the grade school she works at. And I'm thinking....why the HELL would little kids need to think of or be aware of breast cancer, FFS?
It's like these adults enjoy the grim spectacle of danger, and WANT to make kids always afraid of something. Back in the old days they made the kids do "duck and cover" drills, making sure they grew up thinking they were about to be killed by a nuclear bomb.

Everyone gets tired and worn down sometimes - and when we do we take a little break and think of/do nice things until we're back on our feet, so to speak. What you described about losing friends and family has happened to so many of us and that's just probably the worst part of all of this.

Fellow patriot and friend, there's a lot to live for - it all just looks sucky NOW but this is temporary. This WILL pass. I remember hearing stories of people during WWII trying to live normal in small ways, even in places that were getting bombed. Reading books, gardening (even if indoors), making things, listening to music, cooking....we even have YT to learn new things right now. That was how people that were just like us managed to stay sane during insane times. We're all in this together and we need you, so take care of yourself <3
