The bible is not god's word. It is man's account of what happened. I trust Jesus in the new testament, and know that there are inaccuracies and some strait up lies motivated by hubris in a lot of the other parts. The bible never said this is a book of science, because it's not. Jesus hated men who thought they were holy. Somolan who wrote psalms ended up going against God. The words of Jesus are the only words I take for granted, and guess what, he spoke in proverbs, for those with ears to hear, aka NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY.

I realized that liberals only believe in racism being so prevalent because they themselves think like racists. They are the type of people who view the world through labels and stereotypes. They think all trump supporters act one way, all blacks and homosexuals are oppressed, all liberals are good, etc etc. They can't see people as individuals. They are shocked when they meet trump supporters who aren't evil, or are minorities, because they bought into the stereotypes social media told them, without ever bothering to meet any of us. They hate us because they believe the stereotypes. The type of person who is a liberal now, is the same type of person who might have actually been racist back in the day. They are easily manipulated, and always think they're righteous, and can't see past the color of someone's skin, can't get past the fact that others think differently. Put a maga hat on and see how they treat you as a stranger: no differently than how a slave or Jew might have been treated not too long ago.

If you read the bible you'd be concerned about all the shameful and disgusting things you do, not pointing fingers saying anyone is worse than you for being probably very similar to you in many ways. Nice leap to child grooming cuz yes one guy loving another guy and pedophilia is exactly the same. 99.999% chance you're also morally wrong in many ways. Cast that stone tho, condemn people who are no worse than you. If you can't forgive, why should you expect to be forgiven? If you judge, why should you not expect to be judged just as harshly?

Everyone has things to be ashamed of, but you have to point at gays specifically. Let he without sin throw the first stone. If you judge another harshly why shouldn't god judge you just as harshly? Who are you with so much pride to point fingers?

Conservatives in general are just as accepting of gays as everyone else nowadays. It's other gays who are the problem. Because gays tend to be liberal, and liberals are some of the most closed minded and judgemental around. I think I need to go to conservative areas and check out their gay scene. Maybe there are some reasonable gays around.

Im not a fan of gay culture. So just being isolated. And loving people who will never love me back, at least not in the same way.

Those with eyes to see and ears to hear. As an adult, I've found we basically get away with nothing.

There is a lot of wisdom is other parts of the bible, but to me, the absolute most important part is Jesus's teachings. Those really don't seem manipulated, or like there is anything in there that the powers that be inserted to control us. I see the old testament as containing the rigidly religious aspects along with much wisdom, but I see Jesus's words as the ultimate truth.
