My own experience- I had been taking 2 teaspoons full of DMSO daily for a month or so. Had a couple/3 shots of bourbon over a hour. Seemed to have no effect. Suddenly over maybe 10 minutes I was overwhelmed with drunkenness; as though I had consumed a bottle of bourbon. Inexplicable.
Since then- I will have a beer (one.). Or a bourbon (one shot.). That is while on a consistent DMSO regiment.
From my experiences being around “animal people” (those who love horses/dogs etc. more than other humans) they would be the first to retaliate against health care or insurance providers or big pharma for animals if, for example, the pharma companies messed with the drugs being administered to their animals.

I'll try to be more clear. At the advice of a naturopath, I took 30 ml pure liquid DMSO mixed with 30 ml distilled water, mixed in a glass jar with a metal spoon. You just swallow it. I've been using DMSO. Evidently it make me smell very bad; but I can not smell the "off smell" at all. It does not just make you smell like garlic. According to others around me it smells like rotten garlic. From the time I stop taking it it takes 3 days for that odor to disappear.
I just ordered the "low odor" DMSO from the amazon link in this thread. I will try that and see if others around me ovserves the same bad odor.
*ALL that being said- I highly recommend trying DMSO topically and orally. Even eye drops for eye troubles (diluted to about 30%.)
**Drinking alcohol while taking DMSO can have some profoundly unexpected results. IDK if the DMSO overwhelmes the kidney's/liver while cleaning out your system or??? I just know that you can consume a few bourbons and feel no alcohol affect at all; and then minutes later it can put you on the floor. Be very carful consuming alcohol in quantity while taking DMSO.
