my understanding is that pardons can only serve to relieve someone of something they've been found guilty of or at least charged with and itdoesn't protect against states charges and convictions. I believe this long range blanket pardon of Hunter is a test to see if it'll hold up in the courts and public opinion before mass pardons are implemented in an attempt to save the deep state. me thinks it won't hold water though!

it's my understanding they can only be pardoned for crimes they've been charged for. aren't there loads of unsealed indictments? the crimes Hunter was charged for are likely only the tip of the iceberg

I have a friend with similar opinions. he thought Tulsi was genuine and even went to her townhalls/fundraisers in NH. now that she aligns with Trump rather than realizing Trump is good and that's what Tulsi figured out, he thinks she fooled him and she's controlled.

I've always interpreted it as meaning a "budget". now maybe that's not accurate, but why would we ever not want some kind of limit on their spending?
