Good advice. It begs the question of how POTUS and his team are deciding what to expose to the public now and what to hold back?
It just seems unlikely the DOGE team would move on from USAID without a full audit. And, from various stories it appears their AI tools and background are mapping the DS money laundering spiderweb at incredible speed.
They probably already know about the links to Doctors Without Borders, and are either following the web to other agencies. Or, releasing details at a rate the normies that can still be saved can absorb.
I’m weirdly reminded of the Val Kilmer movie The Saint. People in Moscow are literally freezing to death while the gangsters have a massive amount of heating oil hidden beneath the city.
I have a feeling all the while Americans have been struggling the government gangsters have hidden more wealth than people can imagine.
It would be interesting to start out with paper ballots hand counted by at least two different teams, all counted and tabulated on election day. It can be done, countries with twice the number of voters as California do it every election.
If we went through a couple elections with a truly fair process we would probably discover that term limits aren’t really necessary.
Watching the results of the DOGE whiz kids made me think of post 3387, which I hated four years ago when I first read it. We’re about five months from the end of the timeline the post gave us and we’re watching the inner workings of the DS being laid bare.
What I’m trying to wrap my brain around isn’t what these DOGE kids are finding. While I believe their findings are organic, I also believe that none of their findings are news to POTUS, or his core team.
So, what I’m trying to figure out is how and why a team of less than ten people chose this moment six years ago?
The funny thing is the Judicial Branch has no enforcement powers. Those powers reside in the Executive Branch as does the Treasury Department.
A President has every right to audit the Departments and Agencies within the Executive Branch. I can’t imagine what kind of feeble argument lies behind this Judge’s ruling, but I think President Trump would be on solid ground just ignoring it.
That is a great meme! This is the reason I don’t fear massive, violent protests breaking out. The agents provocateurs don’t work for free. And, a good enough portion of the people they used to provoke are now awake enough to resist.
I don’t like that this has to be done and think the executive branch has far more authority than they should.
Sadly, the author ends an otherwise good read with a ridiculous statement. The creation of DOGE is not a case of the Executive Branch having too much authority. DOGE is about the Executive Branch getting control over the agencies that thwart Presidential authority and instead do the bidding of unelected people.
If the Executive Branch doesn’t have the authority to conduct oversight of itself, what purpose does the Executive Branch even serve?
My takeaways from the article are President Trump wants to eliminate Gaza as an excuse for Israel to wage forever wars.
“Trump said, "the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area."
Trump said the "long-term ownership position" would bring "great stability to the Middle East."
And, he actually cares about the Palestinian people and wants to create an opportunity for them to escape a hell on earth existence.
“I don't think people should be going back to Gaza. I think that Gaza has been very unlucky for them. They've lived like hell; they've lived like you're living in hell. Gaza is not a place for people to be living. The only reason they want to go back, and I believe this strongly, is they have no alternative. What's the alternative? Go where? If they had an alternative, they'd much rather not go back to Gaza and live in a beautiful alternative that's safe," he said.
But... don't they have a right to put whatever they want in their office, as long as it is following whatever policies and guidelines have been set?
You’re right and the policies and guidelines changed about three weeks ago. And, with their normal bravado the bureaucracy thought they set the rules, not the President. They’re shocked that as employees of the Executive Branch, they actually are expected to carry out the policies of the President.
I also think you’re right about DS minions being prepped to tell sensational stories, and especially blame it on DOGE. But, President Trump’s woke free policies are being upheld in agencies that DOGE has not yet visited.
I had the same thought. I suspect most, if not all, of the DOGE findings and recommendations are the product of an AI analysis. It hit me a few days ago that most of Musk’s “legendary” abilities might well be the product of AI and he’s the human interface.
I also think there are people who knew where the DOGE wonder kids should look first and those people knew exactly what the kids would find. , But, there is great value in having them find it organically.
Behind most of us. I continue to believe there was never a one size fits all precipice. There were precipices for different communities. The people in this community hit a precipice years ago that caused them to become Anons.
The stolen 2020 election was a precipice for people who were MAGA, but not completely awake. Mass illegal immigration was a precipice for many urban communities as they saw illegals get priority treatment. The list goes on.
This story definitely falls into the category of we can’t hate the media enough. Every story, or more accurate to say, every outlet has essentially the same story that concludes President Trump’s claim is baseless.
I’m linking President Trump’s truth for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
I’m curious about how the term “Musk Deputy” is being thrown around. Is there a definition that goes with the term? Are they long time associates of Musk? Or, are they currently reporting to him?
What I really care about are the results, but it feels like Musk is being credited for a lot of other people’s work.
In the immortal words of Buffalo Springfield, nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong.
Probably every key person in this scenario had a chance to prevent this tragedy. Air traffic control should have caught the two aircraft were on a collision course.
The airline pilots have radar, it seems like they should have also caught the fact the helicopter was too close.
I’m sure the Blackhawk had radar too. Plus a helicopter is highly maneuverable. You would think a trained military pilot would have been capable of executing evasive maneuvers. Or, would have been prepared to sacrifice his own life to avoid hitting a commercial aircraft.
It’s so sad all the way around.
It hit me this morning that DOGE is really the public relations face for what President Trump’s core team has long planned to do.
There is zero chance President Trump came this far, through this many trials and tribulations, without a solid plan for what must be done.
Musk’s role isn’t to identify what waste to cut, his role isn’t to sell the majority of the public on how ridiculous the spending is, and why it should be eliminated.
What DOGE is doing now seems like Christmas every day to Anons. What they will leave behind is the plan for after POTUS. The end product of their work will be an AI tool that enables the President and his core team to manage the Executive Branch bureaucracy in real time.
