We need adequate audits of any state using electronics for totaling votes. We tried with a bill HR 811 in 2007, scared the shit out of all of them. To kill it they gave Florida It's paper ballot back in the 15 counties that had touchscreen. But they butchered every protection surrounding the paper ballot in the Florida statute. Florida still certifies the electronic total while paper ballots are stored for recount purposes only. You never get a different result testing to get near the paper. If a judge orders it the party destroys the ballots. Happened twice in the same district of Debbie Wasserman Schultz in her primary. That's an example recently but it's been going on forever. That is why it is so wonderful she is being drawn out in the redistricting and the black people next door don't want her.
