Libertarianism fails when you have people that are not mentally competent. Children fall into that category, because children do not have the mental capacity to make such life-changing decisions until they're 18... or maybe even 25. The solution is that parents make decisions for the children until they're adults.
But now you've got parents that are batshit crazy enabling this kind of behavior. A good parent would not pump their kids full of pharmaceuticals and a good parent would not surgically mutilate their child.
They probably don't want to have to deal with cash anymore. There is a cost to handling cash: transportation to/from the bank, theft, cashier mistakes, misplacement, counterfeits, etc. In that regard, going cashless has some advantages to a business. But does the transaction costs of cashless outweigh the costs of handling cash? 🤷♂️
IIRC Texas is completely disconnected from the rest of the US power grid, and this was intentional so that power in Texas cannot be regulated by the federal government, because it is not interstate commerce.
So while I like where you're thinking, I think at this juncture it's not possible.

It was to my understanding that Europeans and Indians descended from Noah's son Japheth, whereas Abraham and his descendants, including the Hebrews, descended from Noah's son Shem.
This was part of the Connecticut Compromise which set up not just the 3/5 rule for slaves, but the equal state representation of the Senate and the population-adjusted representation in the House, with the House having the power of the purse.
Southern states wanted to count each slave as 1 person in determining how many Representatives they could send to the House. Northern states, which were less populous, wanted equal representation among states, and actually did not want to count slaves as people.
The Connecticut Compromise established the Congressional structure as it is today, and implemented the 3/5 rule in counting spaces as people. Thus Connecticut is known as the "Constitution State," which is proudly displayed on their license plates.
None of this changes the fact that Whoopi Goldberg is a damn fool for thinking 3/5 is the same as a quarter.

If everyone did this, all sexually transmitted diseases would end in a generation.
