If you go to the full interview, about 20 minutes in, he gets a question of who is the most challenging interview and why. He starts off talking about people who have been drunk, froze on camera, etc. Then he mentions in a joking tone that he has interviewed all kinds of politicians - some where you get a feeling of darkness off them 'like I don't know what you are into, I don't want to know, but I am pretty sure drinking human blood is part of it. Brrrrr!'' Oh Tucker...
If you follow Midwestern Doctor on Substack, his opinion was that J&J was thrown under the bus to give cover to the agencies (Look! We are doing our job to keep tou safe!), when the real goal is to bring mRNA to the market en masse. Not that J&J was "safe", but it served a convenient purpose.
I saw an older piece where Pfizer was earning $1000 a second at the height of all the nonsense. The same article went on to complain how obscene it was that Africa was so under-vaxxed given what they were making. I agree what they were making was obscene, but strongly disagree with the follow up
I never got one because I couldn't think of something I wanted to live with the rest of my life. Then my niece said she wanted one, so when she turned 18, I took her and got one as well. She got this tiny little thing on her lower back. I wanted to somehow tie her into it, and it came to me completely in an instant. I have a music background, and she and her brothers all have names that begin with notes on the scale. So I have three notes, one for each. I actually like it and people ask me about it a lot. Mainly, what is the song.
I had not heard of this. There is a reddit thread that I found where a guy is breaking down the conference calls they are having with the customers, etc. It is really messed up.

(Now consider the fact that Silicon Valley Bank depositors - of which IIRC, was about 35,000, were made whole within, what a week? And old Gavin was on the phone with the US Treasury "fighting for business" and the fact he banked there was just a minor coincidence. )
The weather app on my phone has a alert thing that shows SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS. Which is fine if a hurricane is en route but not every fucking day! Drives me up the wall. All I want to know is if I need a jacket. 10-30mph winds are NOT severe. And when they can't obviously fake it, they plug in the weather that is like seven time zones from me. Just in case I will be dropping by Tokyo this afternoon on a whim.
I was listening to the podcast with Tucker and Thomas Massie and they were talking about AIPAC and how everyone in Congress has "an AIPAC guy". Apparently he didn't make friends off the bat with them though because they wanted him to author a white paper. He responded that he wasn't going to write a term paper, and when they asked why not, his response was along the lines of "I hated doing it in college, I am not going to do it now." The fact they offered him a template was mildly amusing. Anyway, he got on the shit list early and said that other reps would try to help by saying "let me talk to my AIPAC guy". He pointed out the absurdity of it. "I don't have a Russia guy, or a Brit guy." (Some might argue that nuance, but you get the general idea.)
Sorry to hear about your friend and BIL. Sending up 🙏
A side note: You mention hating to be proved wrong about Rino Inc. I hear you. I have been thinking in part that this is something we need to go through first on our "side" for lack of a better term in order to get out of the L/R. R/D paradigm that we are egged on to continue. Yes, we have differences, but that isn't the real enemy. And you are starting to see it in people who have a platform. (Tucker is an example in that he has been very vocal about his stance on the Iraq war.)
It sucks to eat humble pie, but if we are strong enough to take the first bite, I think we become an example for others. "That which does not kill us makes us strong," IMHO.
I forgot about that. My company was going to do that but I left that company at the end of November and the surcharge would have started in January. I would ask for the money back via a bonus (double bonus to cover the taxes.) You can gently point out it is better than being sued.
My family also owns a small business. My dad used to make trips to the bank everyday for cash. Now it is 1-2x/week.
I have noticed an uptick in small business giving 3-4% discounts for cash because of the card fees charged to the business. The money that the major credit card companies make is insane. It literally borders on loan sharing rates.
I follow this substack for actuarial info. She wrote about auto deaths about a year ago. There is definitely something there:
