Imagine if Trump said something similar lol.
It was 1999 the last time we had a hospital birth, so my information may be out of date. But the one shot that seemed totally unnecessary to me was HepC. At that time in our area they gave it to newborns before they left the hospital. HepC is spread through dirty needles/sexual contact, etc. Just seemed like an odd thing to require for newborns with parents who don't use drugs or test positive for other diseases, etc. I should add that we only vaxxed our first two kids partially- had to really fight for that at the time- and after that we skipped them all entirely. But this was one of the things that we learned that got us thinking about the accepted vax schedule.
I use Benadryl for skin reactions (allergic to things like bee and wasp stings, poison ivy, etc) and literally need it to survive the summer and be able to sleep without misery.
This is truth- DMCA claims come down to whoever's lawyer is better, basically. We run an online business and have firsthand experience with this as a product of our design was taken down by a claim made by a competitor that the intellectual property belonged to him. It did not, btw, and we did eventually win and have our item restored. Pretty much anyone can file a claim with a platform (be it a sales platform or social media) and say, "this is mine" and that platform will remove the disputed item due to the claim, NOT due to any proof or documentation. Then as the fight progresses it can be restored or not- sometimes multiple times- depending on how the fight goes. So until the fight over this video is over, you can't really know anything based on the DMCA claims and even then it may be just who ran out of money first, not actual legal proof.
My gut tells me that Stone has been bad in the past, but I'm willing to give him a chance basically because of the Christians he's speaking with and what he is saying and doing NOW. I am a Christian and I'm sure that that has something to do with my opinion, but I'm always happy to see anyone make a change. Believing that if someone does something bad or have been bad at one time that they'll always BE bad goes against the very basis of Christianity and forgiveness. We can all be redeemed and change. It may be a ploy on his part, it may not be a ploy- I don't know. I'm not God. It's not for me to cancel someone who may be trying to do better without seeing how things play out. To me it seems like he's been awfully attacked by the left and and is very much still hated by them, so he has to pose at least some sort of threat to them somehow. Maybe it's what he knows, maybe it's something else. But I'll choose to extend a chance to someone who is publicly trying to do better until I see recent evidence that it's false, not something that is years old, whether it's real or not.
I have commented on this incident previously. I grew up in this town and lived there up until about 9 years ago when we moved our family out of state. We are still in contact with friends who live there and have heard a good bit about this. A little background info was left out of the Gateway Pundit story.
This man, Theodore Deschler, stabbed a 16 year old boy at a gas station in a nearby town: https://www.wbbjtv.com/2023/05/07/stabbing-under-investigation-in-selmer/
Gateway Pundit should have disclosed that this man has at least some criminal charges in his background, imo. As far as I know the boy did not die. The man got out on bail and then this happened. If this incident were just about the stabbing, then local law enforcement or TBI would have been involved, I think. As far as I know, local law enforcement wasn't involved at all. The FBI was still there a day or so after this went down, with the property blocked off, searching the home.
I'm not making excuses for the FBI, but this area, while it looks like Mayberry and like the perfect little small town, has a ton of crime. We moved because of the crime and how bad it was getting. Drugs are a huge issue in the whole area. Memphis is less than 100 miles away, and the closeby neighboring small city, Jackson, is one of the more dangerous small cities in the US. Jackson is known as the "hub city" because of the routes that cross in it, and legal goods are not the only things that pass through the area.
There's a lot we don't know still, but I don't think this guy was some innocent guy that they just busted in on and murdered. I can let you guys know if I hear anything else, but I can almost guarantee that there won't be any local news about this past the initial report.
Yes- they’re fine with killing babies in the womb, of course they’d kill us. No doubt.
We also did not vax our children (we have seven) after the first round or so with our first child. Even back in the 90s as a young, clueless mom, I just felt like it was too much and harmful (and that gut feeling sent me down a rabbit hole of research.) I don't regret it a bit.
There was a push a while back among young people- pre covid of course, because I believe this was all planned in advance- to ridicule anti vaxxers as stupid and irresponsible, and quite a few of my kids fell for it and resented me and their dad for not getting them vaxxed. These kids grew up healthy as horses with very few illnesses, of course. We did sit down with each one of them when they were teens and told them why didn't vax them and that when they were grown they could choose to get vaxxed if they wanted (but to please research first.) Then covid happened and most of them decided we were pretty ignorant and a few got the shot (thankfully no bad health effects yet.) I am sure a few of them will vax their children if something doesn't change (no grandchildren yet.)
I've given up trying to talk to them. Covid, finances (we had had a very successful family business pre election steal and employed all of our kids- this economy forced us to downsize and we can no longer offer all the good things to our kids that we used to, therefore they're not happy with us) and the election bs has driven a wedge between us and most of our kids. I hope that when everything is said and done we can restore our relationships. We've stood our ground and we don't force our beliefs on our kids but they feel fine forcing theirs on us, lol.
It hurts me to see other families like OP's dealing with the same issues. God help us all- this feels like a nightmare.
Adding that I just read that the FBI is still at the house this morning as of two hours ago; everything is blocked off still.
I don't live in this town anymore but I grew up there and heard about this from friends who are still living there. The man who was shot apparently stabbed a young man (16 years old) at a gas station in another nearby town (as far as I know the boy did not die.) The man was released on bail and then the FBI shot him at his home. I feel like there is far more to this story and can't understand why the TBI or just local law enforcement weren't involved if all of this was done over a stabbing incident.
If you can believe what people are saying (and this town has a notorious rumor mill and people will spread anything they hear whether it's true or not, so take all of this with a great big grain of salt), the police were not called until after the guy was killed. Neighbors who watched say the FBI were in camo and were up in trees (lol) and that the woman he was living with was taken into custody.
This little town looks like Mayberry on the surface but there is more crime than they'd like people to know. The neighboring small city is dangerous and crime is part of the reason we moved our family away from there.
This, exactly. I feel like we’re at a time in history when so much bad is happening around the world and we’re exposed to so much of it constantly. We were not meant to be bombarded with so much negativity all the time (or to have to be aware of things that happen all around the world as soon as they happen.) Its a fine line to walk between staying informed and being overwhelmed by the bad.
I think they're gearing up because people are planning on not filing taxes. This is antecdotal, but we live in a tiny little town in rural Missouri. Our accountant told us last week that she had at least 20 clients who were choosing to not file taxes at all until the government is straightened out. I'm talking a town of roughly 2k people and she isn't the only one who does taxes here. If so many in just her pool of clients are standing up and refusing to file, I imagine that many, many more are doing the same.
I am so, so sorry to hear this. Prayers for you and your wife to get through this time.
I dealt with this for a long time and tried a lot of things to help- insoles, foot bands/balls, exercises, a brace that I wore overnight, even a supplement that was supposed to promote healing, etc. None of these helped me long term although each did give a little relief.
I was about to give up until I read this tidbit on a medical message board- it was so random- and this is what helped me to heal permanently (although my grown kids made fun of me mercilessly for it.) One doctor suggested getting two pairs of actual Crocs- the basic style- one pair for inside, and one for outside. Keep them on your feet all the time. Even if you're just getting up in the night to use the bathroom, slip on your inside pair of crocs. It took two weeks for the pain to go away fully and my family teased me for my ugly footwear, lol. But this did fix the issue for me and pf has not returned.
Congratulations and prayers for your family and Theodore!
Congratulations!!
That poor baby :(.
Liz Harrington linked it from her verified TS account.
Youtube almost always will cut off any broadcast with Clay Clark. They've yanked her live videos with him before.
Makes you wonder what they don't want you to hear him say. He's behind the Reawaken America tour.
I read that in the last week the Southern Baptist Convention released a list of names of known abusers. Read about that here: https://www.foxnews.com/us/southern-baptist-convention-releases-alleged-abusers-list-for-churches-to-proactively-protect-the-vulnerable
Well it's fitting I guess.
This came up on my husband's phone this morning and he remarked that it seems like they're trying to get in front of something big that is about to come out.
Wasn't me downvoting you. I guess they don't want that kind of discussion or connection made on here. This is why I wish there were something available for patriotic people where we can do this sort of thing- connect, help each other out, buy/sell, or even barter- so that we know we're supporting like-minded folks. Put our dollars towards helping small businesses or at least based businesses. Maybe there is already something like that out there and I just don't know about it, lol. We already try to support local owned businesses, etc.
Prayers for you, friend. We also own a small business. By the time we pay federal income tax, state income tax, property tax, personal property tax, payroll taxes, etc., the amount is mind boggling. We've been in business for 16 years and have seen growth every year but the last two (2018 and 2019 were explosive years for us) and now, just a couple of years later, we're down to the wire. Since the start of 2020 we've used up our savings and cushion trying to stay afloat, and this year seems abysmal as well. We'll need to downsize and sell a ton of equipment and a property. I believe we'll survive but seeing the absolute destruction and drop in the last 16 months is so demoralizing. Especially when you know that the rightful leadership was denied their duly elected place and that the destruction has been done purposefully. God help us all, we need a miracle in this country!
We need a good, reliable network for patriots to be able to find and support patriotic businesses because we would certainly make use of it.
I will pray for you and your family as well as OP's. I understand so well what you are dealing with. We are in a similar situation and I have posted about that here before. We'll have been in business for ourselves for 17 years next month. Until 2021 we saw steady and sustained growth. 2021 would have been the year that my husband and I finally were able to take some of our proceeds and use them fully on ourselves (ie, kids were grown, weddings done, etc.). We were planning on rapidly paying off the rest of our mortgage and were building up our savings in anticipation of a kind of semi retirement in a few years.
It seems like the day they installed Biden our sales tanked and have never recovered. We're probably doing a quarter of what we were doing in 2020 at this point. On top of this, our state implemented $15/hr minimum wage, so where we HAD been paying our employees (all family) a competitive wage for our area, we were suddenly just barely competing with fast food wages. We kept our kids employed far longer than we should have with the way our sales were going (probably 18 months too long) and fully depleted our personal savings to do so. When it came time for us to downsize, our kids despised us for nOt BeInG GoOd BuSiNeSs PeOpLe.If we had only been smarter and less stingy we'd not have put ourselves in that situation (not sure how they considered us stingy when we provided them with vehicles and jobs and school money and wedding money and helped with honeymoons, etc.- if you can't tell, I'm a iittle bitter about this part of our story and I hate the division that our financial issues have caused almost more than I hate the actual financial issues themselves.)
We've done a lot to stay afloat. Sold our home, lived in our work building for a while- we did buy another home, are working from there now, and are selling our commercial building. Sold off things we'd needed as homeowners like our tractor. We have one vehicle and are thinking of selling it and buying a beater so that we can get a little extra cash. We do NOTHING extra, I've not had a haircut in over a year. I have clothing with holes worn in them because I've not bought clothes in so long. It's devastating to work for so many years to build a business- when it's small and just you and family, you really pour your heart and soul into your work- and watch it just wither despite all your best efforts. We have one employee now and laying her off will be the next thing we have to do. My husband and I no longer pay ourselves a regular paycheck. Bidenomics, lol.
I DO believe that things will get better and that they can be good again if we can stay afloat long enough. It's been my thought that if we can just downsize enough to get through, things will be good again. But I'll admit- I'm almost 50 years old and the thought of starting over and rebuilding is just almost too much.
My biggest suggestion is prayer. I'm a Christian and I have seen God step in and save us at the last minute more than once. Praying for everyone in this thread.
