You could almost hear their brain breaking at that moment as they desperately tried to think of something to spin that comment

In my opinion, hate crimes should not even be a thing. If you have 2 different people, both commit an identical crime, and one person did it just for fun, and the other person did it because of hate, how is the hateful one worse? The hateful one will now also receive harsher punishment, it does not make sense.

Not to mention they just throw on "hate crime" to whatever they want, and blatantly ignore it when it does not fit their narrative. I've seen a bunch of those cases of black people seeking out and attacking asians purely because of hatred, and they don't get charged with a hate crime, just assault.

There are also tons of Hate Crime Hoaxes where people essentially attack themselves, Smollett comes to mind. And there is no harsher punishment for those people, despite blatantly trying to sow hatred against whomever they were framing.

The worst that should happen to this guy is to pay for any damages, and I mean actual damage to the object, not emotional damage. And that statue should not have even been there.

Man if there is an internet shutdown that's going to be crazy. There are going to be millions of people not being told what to think, and will have to think for themselves, and that might be the first time ever for a lot of people.

I agree, but I think your ire should be aimed at the evil on the side lines cheering this on, and the medical profiteers just itching to cut people up for money. (and I think you're alluding to that)

A random trans person is someone experiencing a mental crisis and getting bombarded with truly evil people egging them on, and selling snake oil cures that don't work. They are then basically programmed to parrot the same message, and brainwashed into thinking anyone who disagrees is evil and hateful.

I was just curios Which companies make razor wire? and most of the results are just MSM articles about this exact situation. I just want to buy razor wire futures 😂

And there are millions of Israelis that don't have a drop of blood on their hands either. What's your point?

We're talking about groups here, you can appeal to individuals all day and find exceptions everywhere. I'm not saying those individuals are in the wrong. I'm talking about groups.

Fundamentally I'm saying this conflict should not be happening, and a diplomatic solution should be found. There is a small minority on both sides that are the evil perpetrators and are in power, and you can empathize with either side, but everything that is happening right now is wrong.

I get the whole "well what are they supposed to do? just take it?" and that works on both sides. The evil needs to be rooted out period. You seem to think that it's all on one side, I just think it's on both sides.

If that's how you see it, then I would agree with you. But I think the situation is better analogized as "a rape victim turning around and raping someone else" both rapists are in the wrong. Yes you can point to individual grievances where a single party is in the wrong, but I'm talking about the entire situation in totality.

Being so safe and great should make you want to give informed consent even more. You would want to almost brag about it.

If it's so ubiquitous and common that informed consent is considered a waste of time, then by all means let people wave it. But it should be the default every time.

(Of course this is all worse since we all know this BS)

I mean it's true. If the majority of illegal aliens would otherwise vote republican, the border crisis would end today. Although I like to believe that I am principled enough that I would still be against it even if that were the case.

I'm not against the concept of immigration, but if you immigrate to another country because it's better than your country you need to embrace and assimilate to the values of your target country and learn the language, you need to adapt to the country not the other way around. You need to realize why your country is worse and the target country is better, and do what you can to further maintain that, not destroy it.

If you go to another country to essentially become a parasite and mooch and steal from the natives you should be kicked out. A country cannot have unfettered migration, there is a limit to the amount of people that can be absorbed in a given time frame and countries have the right to determine what that number is (and zero is an acceptable number). The US does not have an obligation or duty to improve the lives of non-US citizens, so if accepting a given migrant is detrimental or a burden, we do not have to accept you. We should only accept immigrants that improve our country and improve the lives of everyone living here.

The truth is bad enough, so why the wild exaggerating?

Because both sides are in the wrong. If you tell the truth, they can tell the truth right back and there goes any justification for what you are doing. Making the other side look so much worse than they actually are is done purely to make your side look better by comparison. At least that's my take on it.

As technology improves I've not doubt it could eventually be like the top picture. But it shouldn't be happening in the first place. People with dysmorphia need mental help, not help mutilating their bodies to fit their delusion. Nobody is in the wrong body! Our society should be researching, building, and refining psychotherapy techniques to help these people, and investigate the actual cause of this condition and try to put a stop to it.

Having dysmorphia has got to be hell, and it's got to be a million times worse when the entire society around you plays along and encourages you to take your delusions even farther, praises you more and more the farther you go, to the point of self mutilation. And at the bottom of it all, they are still empty, they know deep down it's all still a lie, and that's why a lot decide to off themselves (even post surgery)

What's happening at the border is insanity. It's not like the border patrol is just doing a really crappy job, no, they are actively participating in and aiding human trafficking, drug smuggling, and illegal asylum seeking. And we're all paying for it!

I'd want:

  • To finish the wall
  • Add seismic sensors to catch any tunneling
  • Automated satellite monitoring, I bet you could train an AI to easily do this and not have false positives from wildlife.
  • Border patrol able to deploy via helicopters, where they can get to any part of the border within 15 min
  • Charge Mexico money any time we have to deploy (either directly or by tariffs)
  • Charge Mexico any time they are letting "refugees" bypass their country to come here.
  • Bonus: I would love to see a possibly joint effort with US and Mexican government to just take out the cartels once and for all.

I've never been banned, I guess the closest I ever got was by mentioning (NESARA/GESARA)

I didn't really understand what the problem was, and I guess still don't (since after that I abandoned researching the subject, so maybe there is something obvious I'm missing)

But in general I like the mods, I would not want to ever be a moderator, because that must be a freakshow of absolute shit to deal with.. So thanks for dealing with that!

I guess the only issue I have is just let low effort posts die naturally, instead of interceding on their behalf. But that impression is just based on what other's have said mods do, which I would guess is exaggerated or flubbed.

So I guess I'd just like to say "Thank You!" to mods for wading through the sometimes garbage that spews out from posters.

I liked the article! It might be a more preaching to the choir type of article though, I don't think most dems would understand any of the references. (maybe)

2
magaphraust 2 points ago +2 / -0

Okay, maybe I was just missing some context.

magaphraust 3 points ago +3 / -0

IF you're genuine I'm sorry, but this is all just weird.

So you are uncovering some conspiracy between the St. Louis Mayor and Nike? Nike will get the key to city and a grant? And it would be unproper for them to be seen together?... because grants are basically surprises that are bestowed with no prior communication?

I'm prob just out of my depth, because I don't even really know what grants are, but this is all just weird, with a source of "trust me bro".

The swamp is on both sides (at least in Washington), the problem is the Uniparty, not "Democrats". Although the cabal has certainly found more "useful idiots" on the Dem side.

I really hope that when this is all over, that we can go back to a party system where everyone involved has the same values, just different opinions on how to get there. I don't think all dems are evil, they just have more that are asleep, they are fine being dictated to what is right and good, and the mouthpiece right now is pure evil. If they would wake up and think for themselves; an actual well thought out perspective from them would probably be useful.. but I'm probably just playing semantics with labels.

magaphraust 3 points ago +4 / -1

Part of me thinks this is coming from the swamp.. something they've been keeping in their back pocket if prosecution didn't go their way. Just so they can shout "Trump was guilty, but only got off on a technicality"

Yeah, it's just proactively bringing to light malfeasance before it becomes an actual problem. Vivek talks a big game, but I'd need to see actions before I'd ever consider voting for the guy. And I'm sure as hell never voting for him when Trump is an option.

At first, I considered DeSantis and Vivek as strong candidates post-Trump, but not anymore. I do hope we will see someone step up after Trump's second term.

I'm so grateful that our government cares enough about us to poison our water for us. We don't have to bother poisoning ourselves at home! /s
