I have several friends, all engineers, all very successful careers, several advanced degrees among them. They are all terrified of Covid. They all completely reject any information that contradicts the narrative that Covid is the "deadliest virus ever". I have had to just accept that their fear is more important to them than my freedom, my friendship, and actually, their own safety (since they refuse to listen to negative info about the vax).
