I have an hour long commute to work and for the past three years it has been pretty peaceful. You get someone a tad angry every once in a while, but nothing like I've seen in the last six months.
Two guys on the highway the other day got so mad at each other that they were taking turns brake checking each other. One would get ahead, pull in front and slam on their brakes, then that guy would fly around him and do the same thing.
Then the other day I saw two guys get so mad at each other that they were playing sideswipe chicken with each other. Like literally swerving at the side of each other while screaming out the windows and making hand gestures and driving 80 mph down the highway.
This is the kind of behavior you might see once a year where I live if you're extremely unlucky. But in the past six months, I've been seeing driving behavior like the above two examples at least once a week.
I'm personally not appending any one specific cause to what I've observed. All I'm saying is that people out there on the roads, at least where I live, are mega fucking pissed right now and one way they are letting out their anger is with road rage incidents.
When they said the serving jab would come 28 days later I made a meme to this effect in November of last year... *starts digging through piles of files * oh darn where did it go... hehehehe not one I was hoping would ring true.

I've noticed that too; a lot of people driving poorly. Twice in the last month, I was merging onto the interstate when a guy in the right-hand lane played chicken and refused to let me on. I had to break to 30 mph to get on a freeway after running out of the lane to merge on. The guys shutting me out, both times, had no one in the left-hand lane so they could have just switched lanes to make room for me. Didn't do it.
Another time, a guy was behind me as we were both merging. He cut in front of me but didn't accelerate fast enough so he was cutting me out while I ran out of merging room. Almost ran me off of the road.
I think the quarantine cause people to forget how to drive or interact with others.
When I left the office this late afternoon I literally saw 3 near accidents one of which was a FedEx driver that almost sidestwipped me...thank God for the shoulder. Accidents aren't really that uncommon in Houston, but 3 in the span of about 60 seconds all due to stupidity or being pissed????
I was out driving a couple of weeks ago and a driver came at me from the opposite direction around a curve, crossed the middle line, into my lane. Had a couple of seconds to react, pulled to the right enough for him to sideswipe me. Unfortunately, the outside mirror was ripped off and slammed into my face. Texting? Talking on phone? No clue but that took out my 2 top front teeth, have had 2 dental visits to remove one root and the other hanging tooth. Ragged gash on exterior face, cuts, laceration inside mouth. Not a great couple of weeks.

I wonder if with some people, maybe they regret that they got the shot. The only way they can escape the regret and angst, and push it away is to convince themselves that they made the RIGHT decision and those who didn't get the injection made the WRONG decision. It's a book/theory by Neil Howe and William Strauss. Basically they say that history repeats in 4 cycles that are each approximately 20 years long (the time frame of a generation). We are currently in the fourth turning which is the time of crisis. If you go back 80 years you'll get The Great Depression/WWII, before that was the Civil War, before that was the American Revolution..... I wonder if with some people, maybe they regret that they got the shot. The only way they can escape the regret and angst, and push it away is to convince themselves that they made the RIGHT decision and those who didn't get the injection made the WRONG decision. The more angst and regret they feel, as more bad news comes out about the "vaccine", the more they freak out and have to convince themselves. Getting angry at those around them who refuse, (while they should be glad for them, instead), their anxiety about it probably causes them to just lash out. This effect was noted early on in the plandemic. There were notes of increased troponin levels and D-dimer upon hospital admissions along with platelet levels in the tank. But these indicators seemed to go ignored. It caught my attention because why would an acute respiratory infection have these particular co-results? Strategic tension - it’s a concept used to manipulate people and organizations.
There is only so much tension you can deal with effectively. Imagine being at home and kids are screaming. You can deal with that. The dog shit on the new carpet. You can deal with that. The neighbor is banging on his fuckin drums again, you can deal with it. Your mom comes over and shits all over you for having a messy house, for making poor life choices, you grit your teeth and deal with that. Your spouse came home and didn’t pick up the groceries needed for supper and the kids are complaining that they are hungry, you get the keys and deal with that. As you leave you get into a car accident and you lose your shit.
Same goes for organizations. In a coordinated manner you can continue to pile on adversity and tension for an organization until it breaks.
