I didn't get the "don't take the Lord's name in vain" thing until way too late in life, so I don't judge those who still do. But I do cringe and try to avoid them when I find them. If you are in the minority I'm right there with you :-).
Have you ever stored things in a bunch of similar boxes without some kind of marking to help you find what you stored? This is goofy, but if you wrote on the boxes then you couldn't stage another fake shoot in a different room without some dang autist saying something. Maybe I give them too much credit. Maybe they just didn't have time to write anything. Melania's underwear drawers weren't going to search themselves...
That idea does sound unreasonable. If any of that was true it would be in thee Bible. Since it's not, it's not coming from God. So it's misdirection at best, trying to derail well-intentioned pedes from worshipping God and accepting Jesus as their savior. Long story short, if it's not in the Bible, don't follow it.
