her voice has the same silky quality as Kristi's. it's disgusting. I tried to ignore K's voice until I saw her wishy washy stance on so many things. a politician to the bone. this one too. bonus WEF member.

you seem to know a lot about this so I seek your advice. I have joined a prayer group-- I am a newcomer in a heavily Catholic community. The ladies are very patient with me when I debate their interpretation of scripture.

The two biggest points of contention are that (atleast those speaking up) believe the bible is written to talk to us individually. that is we are not required to disseminate the message he was sending to who was in the room at the time, but how it hits each person individually. (objective v. subjective truth).

I experience this as a rejection of responsibility but to say that would be soooooo offputting. They are gracious and patient as my daughter and I explore the context of the verse(s) prior to drawing conclusions about the message.

Which leads to the next component -- judgement. To be merciful to all without discernment --ACK! that is a trap because sometimes that morally righteous anger is necessary to engage in unpleasant acts, imho. Does God really expect us to be merciful to the extent that we are passive and allow bad men (and women) to do bad things?

I know my life experience is so different from theirs due to career and location, and they acknowledge this as well. They are really wonderful people and imho, ill prepared mentally for what's coming.

thanks for listening and if you have some words of wisdom-- greatly appreciated!

my 1st thought was, "yay! i can get back on!" my second thought was, "what a great way to draw out influencers -patriots and go after them when they think they can get away with it."

Anyone who is incredibly wealthy and has a lot to lose if patriots win should be looked at very closely.

at best, he's a wild card.

How do you know I don't agree with you? Or partially agree with you?

the conversation seemed to be more about the moral code and relationship to (God) whatever that may encompass.

I've read some stuff :)

interesting theory. does it really matter whether the choice we were given (between good and evil) was by committee or by a sole entity?

best criteria yet! and women can serve in their country in a non combatant capacity.

are they the beta? this is so sad... can't imagine the purpose of propaganda -- and all too believable that corruption would be at the expense of the ppl. or even part of their plan.

makes me wonder if there is a competition to pare down different country populations :(

I would be in the fray -- hopefully with support of those around me. You don't go into any church and play those games. Not a one.

God gave us a choice. we didn't handle it well.

I find it interesting that so many people nosh (snack). It seems like it's just another habit-- you are used to noshing so you continue to do so.... you just change up the food.

I've known a few folks who habituate to doing something else instead of the eating. Not in a disordered way, they just train their body/mind to focus on something else. I am a 2 or 3 meals a day kinda person but I know if shortages get crazy, it might be worth it to practice eating 1-2 xs a day just so I'm not shocked into it via a crisis.

anyway, just sharing thoughts .... :)

well, a few have very physical jobs or hobbies that do the trick. your point is well made.

I usually don't have the stomach for such things, but I must say I had two occurrences over the past 20 years... 1 with my son when he was 3 and 1 with my daughter a few years ago-- she looks quite young from afar.

Mama's childhood in the hood was helpful. I saw the intent in time.

the last few years include a few near misses for just me as well. keep in mind, none of these occurred in "rough" neighborhoods.

to a lesser extent, refusal to treat early probably added to the body count.

Motherhood is a CHOICE. it is made about 38-41 weeks prior to both most of the time.

Procrastinators are free to give up for adoption!

my husband and I occasionally have this conversation. He says no, I say yes. But it's semantics really. We agree that something makes people sick enough to die and the medical community is not interested in accurately identifying or curing what that actual things is. What else matters?
