A retired neighbor who moved to my area from Northern VA was in Vietnam well before the war broke out. He was in Viet Nam two years prior to the US getting involved in the war there.
He was “stationed” there until we pulled out. He was not in the military. He never divulged what he was really doing there. He married a Vietnamese woman he met there
His wife told stories of how he ended up helping some Vietnamese people out of Vietnam onto the planes before they left. She was in Canada at the time of our pull out on business and he told her not to come back. He apparently brought a number of Vietnamese women (possibly friends or family of his wife) through the gates claiming they were his wife. She sent him to find her brother who was far away from the American compound at the time. In spite of not finding him her brother survived the purging of Vietnamese who aided the Americans when the Viet Cong took over when the US left.
This neighbor also had pictures on the wall of his home of when he was in Afghanistan before our war began there. He explained they were tribal leaders all sitting in a circle with what looked like to us as the Taliban.
He never really said why he was in either place. But we both considered that he was in the CIA. The guy was nice enough but my husband never liked or trusted the guy bc he said he had a fake smile. To us he was always Mr CIA. He’s since moved away
I have a masters in Speech Language Path. My husband has a PhD in physics. We’re both Trump supporters.
I have two sisters and a brother with masters degrees in business. All Trump supporters.
Our neighbors have advanced degrees as well (one is an anesthesiologist). His wife has a degree in Accounting. Both are Trump supporters.
Also have friends and relatives who do not have college degrees. All Trump supporters.
It doesn’t matter if you have a degree or not.
We still are all voting for Trump!
What about us that have no mortgages (paid off) and pay our credit cards off every month?
I only see this happening with those who can no longer pay out as they are maxed out of their limits. Most everyone else would be afraid not to pay off mortgages etc if they still have the money to do so.
Anyway we’re already stockpiled and prepped for Armageddon.
It certainly has set back the absentee ballots here in NC from being mailed out. In the meantime our military and citizens overseas still have the ability to vote online. No one else can do that. So u gotta wonder why they even send them absentee ballots at all.
As a poll worker I always wondered why we had so many early voting days
I didn’t pick up on that and I’m a former SLP who worked with communication disorders in the past.
U thought he was fine if not a bit frustrated by having to fact check Kamala every time he spoke taking away his ability to be on the offensive.
She was on the offense with her buddies helping her and Trump was on the defense most of the time.
I’m just voting straight down the ballot Republican. Be sure to vote your entire ballot!
I know the BOE directors in my county in NC and the entire board bc I’m a poll worker and have to vote early. I don’t worry about my county certifying the ballots wrongly.
I worry more about what happens to these votes when they go to the state electronically.
