All I know is now in NC we no longer tally up the absentee ballot results until Election Day evening.

Also NO absentee ballots sre accepted beyond 7:30 pm when our polls close on Election Night in NC

These ballots can only be accepted at the county board of elections on Election Day bc the precincts would not be done packing up and bringing back to the county board of Elections all required voter ballots and other required materials until much later that evening.

I live in Eastern Carolina and went to our local Costco mostly to pick up much needed supplies to help fill a van from my neighborhood that was being driven into western NC.

I was shocked to see how many people were in there on Weds. I had to grab a cart from the parking lot bc there were none at the entrance. And it took me 15 minutes just to find a parking space.

All the TP, bottled water, and paper towels were gone. I was able to purchase baby wipes, a package of antiseptic wipes, and diapers.

I wanted to believe that people were buying up these things to send to western NC But some of them were were certainly there stockpiling for themselves

I hope those who were stockpiling supplies for themselves will now donate these items to help those in need in the Western part of our state now that the strike is over.

There are and always have been prophetic messages in the old testament about Jesus well ahead of his arrival.

Many of the Jews have missed these prophecies.. Jesus fullfilled all the prophesies of the Old Testament.

Here is just one of them in Zechariah 9:9.

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

And in 1940. Asheville has had at least two significant flooding events from storms in the past.

Are you ok? I live in the Coastal Plains of NC. We survived the floods of Hurricane Flo. But the devastation out west appears to be so much worse.

Hmmmm in Q post on (P) an interesting take on the P as P. Diddy.

Let's see how this plays out.

More likely there are multiple meanings (as are all Q posts).

But the fact that there is less help from the government, 82nd airborne being told to stand down, Kamala stating people affected will get $750 per person when we have spent so much money overseas and FEMA spent its wad of almost a Billion Dollars to house illegal aliens... yeah it could wake up some people.

Another useless Democrat Governor owned by China. I can't wait until he's gone.

Unfortunately, the left have damaged Robinson's campaign so badly with that CNN smear that we will probably be getting in Josh Stein (a soros dem) as our next Governor.

We were looking to buy a second home in the mountains of Western NC. We didn’t buy anything bc we ended up having to redo our own home after we got flooded out by Hurricane Flo in 2018. we still kept visiting though.

We ended up changed our minds after the houses doubled in price during and after COVID. Before COVID a 2 bedroom cabin could be found in the 200ks. Many homes were listed for months before CoVId. Then the mountains got popular and prices were doubled (or even tripled depending where you looked) and so did the mountain populations. And when we went in the summer we usually rented a cabin. The last time we went in 2022 it was too crowded for us.

I suspect home prices there will drop precipitously now. It should be interesting to see if they will even rebuild in some of these areas.

I loved his head tilt with those baby blues’. Seemed he did that every time Walz lied

Probably all the RINOS that are voting for Kamala.

Didn’t know who Jaguar White was. Had to look her up. Since she’s in the entertainment industry I would think she would be in the know about these things.

No I don’t. It popped up on FB. Said the village was devastated by flooding but the Estate itself was spared.

Yup my gun takes shots at people when I’m not looking.

I was really impressed with Vance. He’s definitely future presidential material.

I just spent all day looking for supplies in Wilmington NC to send out to Western NC.

There’s a group of people in my neighborhood who already delivered a truck of supplies to Black Rock in the mountains. They made it!

When we here in the coastal plains of NC were hit with the flood waters of Hurricane Flo people from Block Rock came to our aid. Now it’s our turn to assist them.

Costco was all out of bottled water. It was crazy in there. Probably people panicking from long shore man strike. I’ve never seen that many people in Costco ever! There was even a long line just to exit.

I ended up getting water at Lowe’s, but they were all out of gas cans.

I gathered as much stuff as I could afford from hardware and grocery stores and dropped it off to my neighbor’s home.

There are so many churches here in my own area gathering things up to send there. I just hope it gets there soon.

FWIW The churches do a much better job than the Federal Government.

Give your donations to them

As a former Hurricane Flo flood victim evacuated by boat and were given refuge (with our pets) at a local Baptist Church. Stayed there for 3 days until the roads reopened. During our stay there they fed us 3 meals, handed out extra water, even found me some baby wipes. They even had a huge group of Emergency Trucks that came in from the south and we were able to take hot showers and have our laundry done. They even gave out spare clothing for those who came without anything but the clothes on their backs.

A day after we arrived the people who were housed in a government shelter were bussed to the Baptist Church. Their roof was leaking they had no food or water and generally were sleeping on the floor. (We were given cots). They were amazed by the difference in care.
