I’m sorry but this is false. There is a rather annoying bug present in 14.2 where sometimes when I get texts, it does not notify me. It’s actually a huge pain in the ass but I’m staying here for potential jailbreak.
My point was if they pulled anything with the EBS, they could use the excuse of an update glitch to explain it. Just like everyone uses the “my account was hacked” or “a rogue employee posted that” excuses.
The weird thing is, I have ALWAYS set my updates to be manual, not automatic. When I checked my settings tonight, it was set to automatic. Perhaps that was in the prior update and I did not notice? Anyway, I am glad for the heads up or I would have assumed it was still set to manual.

They snuck the Covid tracker into the iOS last summer I think...? I turned off my automatic updates as soon as I got wind of it. I think if your iOS is still 13-something you’re ok. I hope.
If your bluetooth is turned on it will ping other peoples phones when you are out in public. Someone "tests positive" for covid they will know who that person came in contact with because of the bluetooth pings, they can contact you and tell you to quarantine.

Parler have said they will be taken down by Amazon shortly. Ironically Gab boast that they are safe because they have their own servers but they aren't loading for the last few hours everything just hangs. Maybe instead of focusing on Gab Tv and a Gab phone they should sort the servers out. :(

I never had any problemns with Gab until the last couple of days when it started getting slower and slower to load any feeds. If it's a mass influx of new users then they really need to have been prepared for this as it seems the servers can't cope.
Parler has been loading fine at the moment, but as it will be taken offline at midnight Gabs the only alternative and it's not gonna cope. Dammit, they really should have got their shit together!
EDIT: And if Trump finally does go to Gab, where his feed already has 809,000 followers he likely won't come back if it keeps refusing to load. :(

If you look under “About” in your settings, you’ll see “Software version”. That should be 14.2 or below. If that says 14.3 you got the update.
It says 14.3 (18c66) but I looked up the version and it said it was released Dec 14, 2020

Apple auto-updates by default when you plug it in and go to sleep. The way to correct it is to disabling the option manually.
