I agree he is one of many conduits for the Word of God. He has helped bring peace to the world, and is fighting against corruption, and that alone is proof to me that he is part of the light.
I do not believe Trump knows the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have yet to see a clip of him clearly explaining eternal life is a free gift, not of works or good deeds, which is received by trusting Christ.
Many people are deceived and believe they must do good deeds or promise to stop sinning to get to heaven. Q seems to believe this as well.
But the bible is clear, if you trust Christ plus works, you will not receive the grace of God.
"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." - Galatians 5:4 KJV
"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." - Romans 11:6 KJV
God is still using Donald Trump. If you are hanging over a cliff and a man who does not know Christ offers his hand to pull you up, do you say he is not worthy to save you, or do you take his hand and be pulled up from the cliff? Donald will find Christ in his own way, his heart is good and I will not judge his beliefs. God bless Donald Trump.
I don’t think that Trump has had a whole lot of time to EXPLAIN the teachings of grace vs. good works in public, do you? As I see it, he hoped and asked for grace through the various ministers who often prayed before his meetings. Then he took action. Your other points are well taken.
I don’t think all Christian faiths view grace the same. Many view it this way (including mine): Christ paid our debt and is our new ‘creditor’, so to speak. He sets new terms to the contact - terms we can actually achieve. Essentially He takes our best effort and fills in the rest.
I agree that, while Trump has done a lot of good, I don’t see him as a highly spiritual person. Is he Christian? I don’t know him that well tbh so my view could be very colored by fake news.
I believe Jesus is our Lawyer/Advocate.
So when you stand to be judged, he stands in front of your sins...then you will be judged only on your goodness, kindness, empathy, things you did out of love. Sins washed away by faith, only thing left to judge is your goodness.
I think maybe we believe similar things. As long as you define faith like James (faith without works is dead) - then I think it’s sort of the same idea, maybe slightly different.
Just had this argument(discussion) with a coworker. His #1 point was he didnt like trump. #2 trump is a dishonest man. #3 Coworkers beliefs about Jesus are: works = salvation.
1: I argue he doesnt know Trump, therefore his opinion is based off of (Insert tv,network, film) and not the actual man is baseless. He concedes.
2: i havent heard/seen Trump lie any time. As for his business dealings, playing the game and winning isnt dishonest. (Coworker referenced a film about trump beating bankers at their own game, i.e. he borrowed X, then asked for Y more lest he bankrupts and said lenders lose out 100%. He got more money. Winning!)
3# well, i dont want to rehash that again, to each their own.
Final thoughts, God sets up kings and nations, and he also knocks em down at His pleasure. End of story!
I agree that our view of Trump is very distorted. I have family who still don’t view him as a good man (although they voted for him). He is definitely imperfect, definitely not a saint - but I think if we were to contrast this man to the snakes he’s fighting - he absolutely shines.
"And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith" - Philippians 3:9 KJV
In MASH, father Mulkahy is trying to explain to a soldier why another dies, a good guy, and was having part of his body harvested to save another guy.
He referred to Job in his explanation. I thought that was one of the greatest explanations given for when someone asks the question, why does God allow bad things happen to good people.
Kim Clement is from South Africa. He prophesied everything that is happening with Trump since 2007. Even the impeachment and that he will serve 2 terms. Everything came true to date. Every single prophecy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0puNcimaAUA
I agree with your point, just be wary in the future. Almost all great leaders in the bible fall eventually due to human nature. I believe Donald Trump as of right now has put God and the people first, which is what we need. But at the end of the day, we all fall short of the glory of God
Calling Trump a blessing. Huye jump to call him a representative of God. I think the representative of God is a term used by catholics. In order for God to have a representative, God would need to be absent. Which He is not. I want to encourage you to go back to the bible. Trust God first, trust no man. I trust that God is using Trump for that reason I trust Trumo in THIS moment in time.
ABSOLUTELY. He has brought constant mention of God back to the presidency for the first time since Reagan - in an honest sense, anyway. Obama used God's name and false claims about his "Christian faith" - not possible for an avowed Muslim - as a pandering tool and a vacant talking point. President Trump's assault of human trafficking and his takedown of pedophiles is God's work, to be sure. God Bless President Trump!
Yes.
& America is God's nation on earth.
They are both being used to exact God's will, which was defined at the dawn of time...
I love it when a good plan comes together!
God uses imperfect men to achieve his goals. Daniel was no saint. The Babylonian king Cyrus was used to release the Jews from captivity. There are countless other examples. Trump is in the same vein. I believe God is working through Trump to rid this world of the incredible satanic rot that has permeated the entire global ruling class.
One clue I use to tell if Trump is good or evil is to see the irrational hatred so many have for Trump even before looking at what he does. Irrational hatred is demonically inspired, just as the demons hated Jesus, because they knew he could destroy them.
An imperfect sinner doing God's perfect business! That's how I see it, and the only Judge is God Almighty! And He's given us the opportunity for Salvation through Jesus Christ, his one and only begotten Son!!! That's what the Holy Spirit tells me...God bless, Patriots!!!
DJT is not a messiah, nor would he ever claim to be. But if you’re familiar at all with the prophets of the Old Testament, you might see a resemblance. It also comes to mind that the Jews resented and decried their prophets, especially when the prophets called them out and told them the truth about themselves—which they did. A LOT.
He is ordained for this time. To me personally, regardless of it being Trump or not, God is reaffirming to us that justice is real and giving us a crystal clear example through Trump of what that means.
We need 100+ years of such people to fight back the evil. This is only the beginning.
Trump is not the Messiah. Trump is a Messenger sent by God. Divine intervention.
I agree he is one of many conduits for the Word of God. He has helped bring peace to the world, and is fighting against corruption, and that alone is proof to me that he is part of the light.
See: Kim Clement prophecies: https://www.disclose.tv/t/kim-clement-i-will-fool-the-people/14027
Ryan192 should listen to that advice. The Kim Clement prophecies...good Intel from the Throne room never hurt anyone. Trump listened to him 100%
He is the chauffer
I do not believe Trump knows the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Saul was a murder
The disciples were fishermen, rough loud and crude men
God chooses who to work through and loves to pick them up from the gutter
Listen to Kim Clement talk about Trump, he is not a religious man but a praying man, and God is working through him, recognize!
Yes. There is none righteous, no not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
That's why we need Christ to give us eternal life, because we can't live good enough to earn it.
God is still using Donald Trump. I've always believed Trump is a man built up and put in place by God.
I pray for Trump to be strong and I thank God for sending him.
Ultimately, I give God the glory. Trump will (continue to) have my gratitude and prayers for him.
Yes, that's my hope

Edit: Whoa, formatting fail!

Agreed.
So you're saying Trump doesn’t subscribe to the false doctrine of faith alone? Even more reason for me to trust him.
Faith alone is the gospel!
"And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith" - Philippians 3:9 KJV
Nowhere does it say faith alone. Faith alone is worthless. It's what one does with his faith that matters. Works.
Ephesians 2:8. ?
God can use anyone He wants to serve a purpose for good. Many examples in the Bible.
Yep and it sure seems he's doing God's work
Talking about the Book of Job, the character Job !
Job not job, big j, its the name of man in the bible
It's turning into a bigger whoosh..lol
I disagree.
God uses imperfect people for His perfect plan. Trump isn't divine, but his mission of freedom for humanity is.
I’d go with Instrument of God
Yes agreed, no doubt, chosen by God for this role
He has certainly brought me closer to God!
I see Trump like Cyrus in the Bible, who God Anointed to do God's work, Trump has been protected, Not just buy Man but by God.
Yes, I absolutely do!
I have been brought closer to Jesus as well Ryan as a result if the Great Awakening
Trump was CHOSEN by God for this task that nobody else could do.
Kim Clement is from South Africa. He prophesied everything that is happening with Trump since 2007. Even the impeachment and that he will serve 2 terms. Everything came true to date. Every single prophecy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0puNcimaAUA
Angels, just like demons, walk among us...

He is just a man wearing the armor of god.
Calling Trump a blessing. Huye jump to call him a representative of God. I think the representative of God is a term used by catholics. My entire life I was on the fence about god. Then this man came along and this entire thing started happening, I now believe.
He has defiantly been appointed for this time.
Yes. & America is God's nation on earth. They are both being used to exact God's will, which was defined at the dawn of time... I love it when a good plan comes together!

Heads high. In the end evil will be vanquished.
President Trump is truly a gift from God. He has grown on many because they have taken the time to study and know the man. He only improves with time.
Imagine the next four years without the criminals who stood in the way of our country's future. Pray for President Trump's continued success.
Love to all!
Not a representative, but a tool. The right tool for the job.
I feel that God is working through Trump. God is working through all Patriots.
I always found interesting that he made the distinction between a praying man and a religious man.
Stranger things have happened. The Lord will choose the vessel that best suits his purposes.
It’s crazy that r/Christianity on Reddit hates him.
/r/TrueChristian
/r/Chriatianity is a dump.
By your logic that makes Rudy, God’s advocate ;)

He is Gods David
To paraphrase Kim Clement
Like Washington and Lincoln, Trump is doing God's work to preserve mankind's inherent dignity and God-given rights. That, I believe.
He is ordained for this time. To me personally, regardless of it being Trump or not, God is reaffirming to us that justice is real and giving us a crystal clear example through Trump of what that means.
We need 100+ years of such people to fight back the evil. This is only the beginning.
We are all representatives of God. You just need to have the courage to look inside yourself.
Depends on the next 7 days and we can revisit this.
