In and out...1 item...kept my sunglasses on. I hate that i am shaking.
I still gotta put it on at work...ugh....thats why i sometimes work from home even though im way more productive in the office....legit mask anxiety. I feel suffocated. F masks!!!!
I never wear it. And many times people will see me not wearing and take theirs off. I love it.
That’s what my goal is. But if some dumbass confronts me, ugh....i don’t want to cry.
Put on a brave face and carry yourself like a boss because that's what you are.
Seriously. I walk in like I am the CEO and own the place. Walk like there is nothing abnormal about what you are doing to the point that you don’t even notice glances. Smile at them and pretend they are maskless.
Sort of a reverse gaslight. “I am sane and everyone else is a little crazy, but ok I will put up with you...”
Immediately greeting the person who's suppose to stop you also goes over pretty well. "Hey, how's your day going" catches them off guard as you keep on walking like it's a normal day.
It sucks because someone has put a rule on me, and something in my avatar wants to just conform. My face got red and i was shaking with i “broke the rules”. Fucking trippy.
I am actually a boss, given the right environment...
Just ignore. You aren't doing anything wrong.
I go in to all shops maskless, very rarely does anyone say a word, if they do I calmly ignore or say "no thanks" and move on.
Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill, you did this every year up to now.
That's what I do as well. If someone says something, I just say, "no thank you" & walk away from them. If they were to persist, then I would just leave the store.
Right. Just don't engage, that's the ultimate weapon. It's a stressful time for everyone, people are looking to snap at others if given a reason.
"I AM wearing one," I say, "Only stupid people can't see it!"
It really depends on where you are. I've been yelled at for having it ON my nose but not all the way covering my nose. They will legit ask you to leave and won't let you in even with an exemption.
Very liberal areas are hard to just not wear one.
They can't physically stop you. That's what I meant by ignore as you walk past or just say " No thank you " I'm in a liberal state and it's never stopped me once. You just need the cojones to do it. What's stopping you is you.
honestly it's not even cojones that it takes, it's just remembering what normal life is supposed to be.
Thank you for this!
This is for your growth. Rules not grounded in natural law lack standing. You have jurisdiction over your health in public. You are getting stronger every day
there are less mask nazis out there than you might think, my brother had the first crazy yell at him the other day and neither have of us have worn a mask even once ever since the beginning of this garbage, my brother didn't even flinch and the screeching psychopath was asked to leave. I've only ever had employees of various stores ask me to wear a mask, I usually just say no and nothing else happens after that, another one you can try is simply telling people you have a medical exemption from wearing one. Works just the same, they don't have anything to say after that and you just keep on with your business
It's gotta start somewhere! Soon everyone will be like YOU?
Given the right environment huh? I can guess where that is, and I like the picture.
Practice your responses to mask nazis:
Do you have a mask? "No"
Can you put one on? "No"
(Usually this is the end).
You're killing grandma. "You should eat healthier."
You need to wear one. "I have an exception."
MOST people don't want confrontation as much as you don't want confrontation. Show your resolve, and most people won't push.
If they want you to leave, well, this is America (technically... Maybe...) and you can take your hard earned money elsewhere.
Remember that most of the people that confront you don't want to confront you and their hearts are beating just as hard as yours. They do not know the laws, except HIPPA. If they keep pressing you just turn to them, look them in the eyes, and say "if you continue this conversation with me, you are violating HIPPA laws." and walk away. I worked in a grocery store for 16 years. These people don't want to talk to you as much as you don't want you to talk to them. Occasionally you'll come across some loser that things they are AMAZING at their job and will try to confront you because they feel like their bosses will back them up... trust me, they will fall over if you act confident.
I'm assuming you're a woman, right? Insert sexist reply here.
Its a valid question...im super emotional
We bought face shields, the clear ones? I don't wear masks in stores but I put that thing on our of curiosity (you really kinda forget it's there) and it was actually funny to see people looking shocked, jealous, then you could see the gears turning in their heads while they plan to get their own clear shield.
It defeats the faceless thing... You can smile at people and talk.
Even Costco allows them and sells them, and they've been hard core on masks the whole time!
I just throw on a set of headphones and crank them up. I cant even hear them yelling. They eventually get annoyed chasing me around the store talking to my back. I'm a fast walker lol.
? I've pretended not to hear them, on the VERY rare occasions they've said anything atall.
When they mumble through their stupid masks I've them repeat themselves. Because it IS hard to understand all that muffled nonsense.
My favorite was nearly a year ago, before I had learned to just not wear them: this stupid girl that kept coming up to me and demanding I wear a mask. I'd slide it up over my nose and as soon as she was far away I'd drop it again and pretend not to hear her. So she'd have to walk all the way back. Over and over.
But you are a woman, yes?
...... What are you doing?
Nothing, I'm just curious. I'm not a creep. Settle down.
Just don't like question dodging, lol. No man would say he is gonna cry. Unless he's gay or something.
or do cry. you know like fake convulse. the whole nine yards
Had a dude see me with out one in IKEA, and after he took his off he turns around to talk about how he hates them.
Haven't worn one yet, this is all retarded. Don't be retarded.
this^
I've worn a mask for about 5 minutes total, otherwise I go without, order online, or run into local owned gas stations that don't care about masks.
my house is cleaner because I buy less crap, and I'm using up all the extra canned goods that are set to expire.
it's been a fasting/purging process which I think we all need.
Lol, never go full retard!
Ok ?? ?❤️
Love that response.
Yeah, best one yet. I like a blunt, quick & dirty answer. Dont sugar coat it.
If I’m asked if I need a mask I say, “No thank you” and if I’m asked “Sir, where is your mask?” I simply say “I can’t wear one” and that’s it. People are stunned like “he can’t wear one?” And while they’re thinking of why I can’t, I’m casually strolling around stores.
Doesn’t matter where it is, those are my answers. Most of the time I just walk in and smile at the people who are supposed to be mask enforcing.
Been doing Publix with no mask and my MAGA hat since day one of the Scamdemic.
The way you can avoid anxiety is to not worry about being confronted.
If they tell you to put on a mask, just say you don't believe in masks. If they say you must wear a mask to shop, then leave and shop elsewhere.
There are plenty of places to shop.
Go in with the expectation that you will be told to leave, and then it won't be a big deal when it happens.
One time I was told to wear a mask at checkout, and I refused and left $200 worth of groceries at the checkout. Then I went across the street and bought groceries there.
It's their loss not mine! If they don't want my business I'll shop elsewhere.
Exactly!
Just own it OP, don't act ashamed, go maskless with confidence. Don't live in fear like all the masked sheep. What is the worst that will happen? You get kicked out. So what. If a private business chooses the mask over your money, so be it. Don't cause a scene, just be sure to never give them another nickel.
I have been accosted one time in Publix, and my first thought was "oh shit, here we go"... but it was another lady that was maskless and she said she just wanted to thank me for not wearing one either :). I have been in Sams, Walmart, Publix, Lowes and many restaurants without a mask on... just walk in like you own the place. If someone says something, just say "oh are we still doing that?" and walk out.
The larger county south of me, that we shop in a lot has a county-wide mask mandate. I never wear one. Never had a problem, I walk in, do my shopping, pay and leave. The county I live in does not have the mandate, so it is more like 50-50 of people wearing them - and I do try to shop here more, but the store selection is not as good, it is a small rural county.
Be a leader, OP. When more people see that it is ok to say no, more people will follow.... but as long as people keep obeying, there will be no relief - they will keep adding more regulations - what are we up to, 4 masks at one time now??? lol
I go to Publix 4-5 times a week and have never worn the mask, ever.
Confrontations? 2 total
Last one was a hoot. Lady told me and my niece 'they have masks up front' as her fat ass rode by on Publix scooter.
My response: ' They have home delivery, too. Maybe you should check it out. '
lol
Keep it up.
It gets easier, pretty soon you want someone to say something to you.
If someone does say something to you, they usually back down quickly,
if you show you're not afraid of (verbal) aggression.
If you're in Florida (Publix?) you can't be fined or arrested, the worst thing
they can do is make you leave the store...no big deal, right?
It's gotten to the point where it's been so long that I've been going everywhere without a mask,, with very little problem, that I've psyched myself up for battle with no outlet. At this point I think my body language is saying "come at me bro I f*cking dare you", so people stay away.
100%
Me likey
I was at Home Depot and some guy with his wife,
He said: "You need a mask"
I said: "You need to shut up"
He coward immediately, I saw him on my way out and I called him a Nazi Fuck, hoping for more of an exchange, but he didn't say anything else.
I felt like a badass patriot for two days after that, its all "chest pounding" and a "game of chicken", Id most likely get my ass kicked by anyone willing to take it there, its exhilarating though.
Ha, yah Im hoping his wife has fantasies about me now, kinda like the Dumb and Dumber fantasy sequence in the restaurant.
Yeah, but that kind of response only cements in their minds that anti-maskers are anti-social jerks.
The people who work in these stores are friendly acquaintances and are just following orders and truly think they are being good neighbors, saving lives, etc.. I don't want to make theirs lives tougher than need be, is the thing... Nor do I want to be forever labelled their enemy.
I'm trying to think more of how to "win friends and influence people". Not sure of the best way since I am in a generally-socially-liberal area but it's a small rural town. We don't have significant choices about where to shop. If I were living back in the city I would have no issue about going maskless.
I don't care if they see me as an anti-maskers, I am one.
I don't care if they see me as an anti-social-jerk, I am one.
You are going to get a lot further in life when you stop caring what other people think of you. They will respect you more.
As far as your situation I would recommend this video. please watch.
Your feelings and happiness matter also, stop putting other people who are restricting your freedom before yourself.
Good for you! Remember ‘ a journey of a 1000 miles , starts of with one step’
The manager at our Publix admitted they cannot enforce face diapers. It's illegal.
We don't wear them.
So you have people giving up their freewill to participate in an occult ritual.
The spell needs to be broken. Pray against it.
As a Florida resident, I refuse to wear a mask. I refuse to shop in stores that require them, and I will go out of my way to give my business to places that DON'T require them. My husband is thrilled because the list of stores I won't shop at anymore keeps getting longer and longer.
We recently transferred my teenage daughter to a private school that doesn't require masks and yesterday, her first day, she marvelled at how amazing it was to just LEARN and not have teachers be constantly focused on masks/"safety." It actually hurts my heart to think about how much our kids our missing right now. She came home and said, "I will never wear another mask."
All that to say, good for you for resisting. Resist more. Resist all the time. Speak up. Stop wearing those stupid useless masks. Smile at people. Look them in the eye, and don't back down. Give your business to places that support freedom. Refuse to give in to tyranny!
CDC says you only need a mask on if you are within 6' of another person not of your household, thus you should be fine to take it off at your desk if no one is within 6' of you
That’s the truly ridiculous thing about it. The mandate, at least in FL, is that IF you can’t social distance 6 feet, then you need to wear a mask. But people have taken it as “you always have to wear a mask in public no matter what.”
People be sheeple. It is always amazing how willing people are to give up liberty and comfort for "safety" and "security".
The more you do it, the easier it gets ;) The more you do it, the more others will take note and be encouraged to take theirs off. I wonder if they would really fire you if you showed up without a mask one day? My husband and I haven't worn the mask in months, but I had to hurt his pride a little bit to get him on board initially. He has no regrets about it though. As of the last week, we're no longer the only ones in the store without masks. People are waking up. I don't see this charade carrying on for much longer.
Keep doing it and you wont be nervous anymore!! Youll wanna tell people to fuck off when they tey to get you to wear one
I did Publix for a leg of lamb about a month ago. I wanted lamb and they were the only one that had it.
So, I went there and I got my leg of lamb, 8 pounds, damn near $70 for it.
Then I carried through the store holding the like a club, and my 6'5" 260 pound Qtard ass staring at everyone like a crazy fucker begging for someone to say a word to me about wearing a mask. I got looks. But not a word was said.
KEK, lol.. I only put mine on in stores that won't sell unless I wear.. Just say to mask nazi's..... IF your so worried about people not wearing masks stay home!..or... I have a health issue that reQuires not wearing one! (If they ask your ailment they violate HIPPA)....or...Nah I don't believe in conspiracy theories...or...WHOA WHOA step back you're less than 6 feet away...or... I had covid and I am A symtomatic... GL:)
Good for you! I’m in Hillsborough county and I just stopped wearing one about 4 weeks ago. This is a county that mandates masks but so far, no confrontations. I plan on saying I have an exception if asked but I also want to say “my pulmonologist says that I got bacterial pneumonia from wearing a mask.” Lol it would be funny to see the look of horror on their faces... but that could happen and we all should be afraid of THAT. Over and over I see people with filthy looking masks. Sure..that won’t cause any problems. Dumb asses.
Anyway, my work is cool with any sort of exception and has a big sign up stating if you have an exception, you don’t have to wear one and nobody can ask you about it. We all have exceptions...
If someone confronts you that works in the place of business just say according to the ADA I do not have to wear a mask. If they ask about your disability then state by law you do not have to divulge your private info per HIPPA. If another consumer says anything then tell them to straight up FUCK OFF!
Should I post every time I go someplace with no mask? Because that'd be a lot of posts.
The ONLY way the masks go away, is if people quit being pussies. DO NOT WEAR A MASK IN ANY STORE PERIOD! Door monitors have NO authority, ignore them walk in. If approached by owner or manager, tell them you will not wear a mask. Ask if they are going to call the police to have you removed. I have NEVER had it go past this point. Force them to call the police to remove you...most PDs will NOT respond for a mask enforcement period. If they do, then leave once the police get there and ask you to leave. DRAIN THE RESOURCES AND IT WILL FIZZLE. 99.99% I walk in with no mask, nobody says shit, and some pussy gets enough willpower to take theirs off after feeding from my freedom power!
It's pretty fucking ridiculous that THEY are able to make good folks feel like criminals for simply wanting a full dose of fucking oxygen while breathing.
THANK YOU! Restricting my air flow is panic inducing. I want to cry when i have it on. It is ALWAYS below my nose.
I saw my primary doctor the other day he gave me advice on how to tighten up the mask so it goes up over my nose. I told them I specifically pull it down like this because I really like breathing and felt suffocated. He said that he didn’t care if I had it on or not & he was vaccinated. I said cool, and tossed it off to the side immediately. I wish he took his off too, but nope. ??♀️
Hey you were the one from Cosco yesterday right? You're taking flight, you won't be shaking soon :)
So sick how they can try to social pressure healthy people into feeling anxious just for living and not succumbing to the anti science virtue signaling.
It is amazing how quickly people are willing to give up their rights and freedoms. I haven't worn one since this thing started except when I worked in an attic or under a house.
We need to empower others. Each one of us that does not wear it, creates (hopefully) a question in others heads. My husband and I are not wearing them. To see the masked ones walk way around us so they don't step into our healthy bubble is sadness upon my heart for the gullibles.
Welcome back. I never wear it. And when they come over the intercom to tell me to put it on, I sing praises to the most high. I value my health and freedom too highly to diaper up.
It gets easier the more you do it.
Stay strong!
I never wear one except to church, but we can remove it once we reach our seats. At the store I've only ever had 1 person tell me to "quit being an a-hole". I told him to mind his own business. I'm 47, 6'-3", 245 lbs with a large white beard. He shut up when he realized I wasn't going to cower. Felt good man.
Stupid ass at the gas station asked me if I forgot to cover my nose. I said no, i just enjoy breathing too much to stifle it.
One step at a time. You're doing good.
I never wear one, haven't since the beginning. But I put of an aire about me that screams, "fuck with me and die," so I don't get approached by anyone every often, even before this "new normal."
What do they say, "Fake it til you make it?" If you fake you don't wanna be messed with, people feel the energy and leave you alone.
Plenty of people are going to be sad bc they’ve invested in matching masks for their outfits. It’s become a friggin fashion statement and I’d say a pretty good merch for mask fags.
No mask since beginning. Wife is on board. Sis In Law has been nails along with me. Freedom
Here’s my condition: Liberty-itis
It is very sad that you have to suffer anxiety because their insanity makes you feel like a criminal when you are just being normal. It is a terrible feeling. It gets better. Confidence is key.
