Not enough people realize that science is massively manipulated through scientists who are manipulatable because they are just as fallible as any other & scientific institutions that are corruptible because they are just as vulnerable to human fallibility as any other.
The people understand it as error, which they believe is small & corrected or accounted for. But they don't comprehend the systemic corruption of human "error" and how far the scale of it extends. Even the scientists in the system are blind to much of its corruption, are many, and are growing in number as the similarly corrupted institutions churn out highly educated worker bees.
"Science" has turned into a buzzword & a dogma as much as those of any other religion or ideology. The powers that be have corrupted its original intent in using critical thinking to find truth into pushing propaganda critical of inconvenient truth. They have politicized it & its institutions by controlling funds, controlling training, compartmentalizing expertise, & employing confirmation bias. They have taken advantage of perceived public credibility formed by the ideals of days past to manipulate the perception of gullible, uninformed, & unthinking masses to their advantage.
Anything that is touched by the human hand or mind can be manipulated for evil just as much as if not more than good.
Anything that academia has been left in charge of delegating (i.e., awarding diplomas to) has been hopelessly preferentially-selected for inside-track communists for decades. Those who rise the quickest are the already anointed.
I pursued a career in "science" 45 years ago because I thought "truth" was a worthy endeavor. College science departments hadn't been infiltrated by leftists back then, and my education was almost exclusively "fact based" (other than the few liberal arts classes I had to take as an undergraduate student :) ). Ten years later, when pursuing a PhD, I saw how corrupt "science" had already become! Today, "science" is laughable! The students going into college science departments are already so indoctrinated from their public education and media bombardment, that it doesn't take much from the now leftist science professors to totally get them on board with "climate change" and other nonsense. It really is a shame.
For all the histrionics over climate change, the one indisputable fact remains that prior to our species even existing on earth the whole damn thing has ALL melted AND ALL frozen countless times. And will again, regardless of how lame one's virtue signalling Prius or coal powered (lol) Tesla is.
One theory I discovered and researched recently is that we may have possibly inadvertently delayed the next coming big freeze for a while with all this carbon crap we burn that's holding heat in. More ironic than rain on your wedding day, that's for sure!
