Article is disappointingly light on any details. Were all of these children recovered from different places or were they grouped together? It says only 1 was identified as possibly being human trafficked, so what was going on with the others? Are the cases related or all separate cases that were solved during this operation?
Many news outlets admit this is a "developing" story.
Possibly meaning that they are scrambling to develop their own spin of this story?

It would be nice if the operation was from tips from volunteer (b/c the name of the operation had volunteer in it). That info should be broadcasted far and wide to keep people updated in what to look for in their own communities.

They weren't "recovered" like all in one group, they weren't "recovered" from trafficking, they were just located.

It's stories like this that slightly help counter the pain of knowing child raping and murder is an industry. While the stories are a painful reminder of reality, they are also hopeful, because something is FINALLY being done about it on a global scale.

So there were 240 missing kids, and they found 150 of them. Of those, 93 were foster kids, and 1 might have been in human trafficking.
Still need to find 90 kids. How many of them are also foster kids?
Geez. My comment was just sharing the bare bones of the article. My comment said absolutely nothing negative about foster parents. I have foster parent friends and know how much good they do. I myself had a foster young adult last year who had experienced unspeakable abuse.
I also know that a lot of foster kids run away, that's why I was wondering how many of the remaining missing kids were in the foster system.
I have meet 2 "foster families". They were both in it for the money, not the kids well being.
Sometimes it's best to keep things a little quiet. It makes it easier for law enforcement.
