The difference between Matt Stone and Trey Parker vs other comedians, especially the late night talk show hosts and increasingly similar shows like Family Guy, The Simpsons and American Dad, is that Matt and Trey dont come at their subjects with an agenda. They mock everyone and everything. They have a keen sense of the absurd and mock it endlessly.
Matt Stone and Trey Parker are filthy rich from money they made in Hollywood.
Matt and Trey will protect Hanks and Oprah and Spielberg from you and me and anyone else who might stand between them and their Hollywood money. They are part of the problem.
