I moved to St Petersburg, Russia in 1989. The place was a mess. It was a few years removed from the break up of the Soviet Union and their cancer wards were filled with people dying of leukemia, etc after Chernobyl. I went there to bring in medical aid, including medication that was tremendously effective in treating leukemia. We also brought in food and clothing aid.
What I witnessed completely broke my heart. Almost none of the food and clothing aid went to its purpose. Not even 10% of it. There was a pecking order for the vultures who would take their bounty from the containers - customs, city officials, Orthodox Church, market sellers. At the end, you had a few torn shirts and unmatched shoes. That went to the needy. The food was the same.
We had to pay tremendous fees to "Consultants" and brand all the distribution boxes for the Orthodox Church to get the medication off the dock. then, the Church SOLD it to the hospitals.
I have lived in Russia, Ukraine, Kenya and Ghana. It's the same everywhere. Foreign aid, whether sovereign or private, is a massive money laundering scam. It actually makes the lives of the actual people much worse. Those profiting from our conscience-salving donations are financially motivated to make human suffering as bad as possible to perpetuate their racket.
Red Cross, US Aid, all the pathetic billionaire foundations, 100% of all of it - scam. You can tell they are a scam, because they are still in operation. There are millions of wonderful small scale operations. 100% of large scale operations are money laundering, life destroying, human trafficking scams.
THANK YOU!!! I have been saying this for years!!
And, what about the United Way? They skim off a portion from the top for "operating fees," then disperse the money to other charities. Do we really need a middleman for donations?
UW is one of the biggest scams. I read several years ago the value of their 'operating fees'. I don't remember the amount, but it was exorbitant.
One of the companies that I used to work for was really big into not-so-subtly "soliciting" their employees to donate to the UW. The bigwigs wanted that plaque on their "I love me" wall that said 100% of their subordinates donated. I can remember all of the grand "fundraising" parties the UW would have with all of the rich donors. THAT's where the "operating costs" came into play.
One year, I actually had my boss take a percentage of my pay for the UW, without my permission or signature, because I hadn't signed up. I was furious. That was the last time UW ever got so much as a penny from me.
Taking it without your permission is grounds for a lawsuit right there. Our company tries get everyone to donate every year and "oh we match this much" and I just put 0% every time. Apparently a lot of people don't even remember to do that as every year the boss seems obligated by upper management to go around and remind everyone. I know a bunch of coworkers who stopped donating after 2020 when UW started spouting more woke crap in their annual begging presentation.
Oh, I know it was grounds for a lawsuit, but that would also have cost me my job. I don't know that it would have been worth it. It would have been David against Goliath.
I'd bet there were a bunch of Davids, though.
Most employees probably weren't as rebellious as me, lol.
One company I worked for was about as bad. One year one of the divisional VP's got called on the carpet by the CEO for annually donating a 'tawdry' sum. The VP explained that he had other charities he preferred to donate to. The upshot of it was that the CEO basically extorted a donation value that satisfied the CEO.
Yuge scam.
Bigly!
United Way is the Federal Government of charities :)
IIRC, the UW scandal of years past showed that at most 5 cents of every dollar donated went to actual charity, the rest was "operating costs" which was truckload of BS
I discovered this back in 1984 with Christian Children's Fund. I had joined and supported a child in the Philippines. $15 a month. I was traveling there to bring my fiancee back to the USA and thought it would be great to visit this child I had been supporting through the program. I met the staff in Manila at their office and noticed about a dozen staff members busily sorting envelopes from around the world, most likely sent from sponsors like myself to the kids. They drove us by car to this desolate "squatter" slum located under a large highway bridge adjacent to a smelly waterway. Probably a few hundred shacks of all sorts, each one a very sad sight, indeed. So I met the child and in talking privately with her parents, they told me CCF did not provide them with anything. They never really saw anybody from the organization. No food, clothing... nothing like I was led to believe was happening, as shown in the CCF brochures. I gave the girl a watch, a gift I had brought. I left in a daze and frustrated by what I had experienced. I felt hoodwinked by the CCF scam. When I arrived back home, I wrote CCF headquarters and told them in detail about what I saw and how I felt cheated by the program. I received a reply stating they would check further and get back to me. The result? ---> I never heard back again.
Pretty sad! It's like the scam artists who prey on people's compassion after disasters. The same psychology is used by panhandlers, at least the professional panhandlers, which there are many. I guess it's human nature to feel sorry for people less fortunate than you, and not question those who say they are collecting the money either for themselves or some organization.
While it’s pretty likely CCF was skimming money, there are also plenty of documented cases of parents/guardians of these children lying to gullible donors to convince them to give more money/valuable items. That money is often used for alcohol and drugs.
I realized charities were a scam about 10 years ago with Africa. I thought - they ask for money to feed kids, and then ask money to save the wildlife. The kids grow up to poach the wildlife. Who benefits from all this?? Because it's not the kids or the animals. If you want to give charity, feed your neighbor.
Hundreds of trillions of dollars in Aid has been sent to Africa over the past 60 years -- if they really got that aid, why is most everything there still the same? That should be enough money to modernize the continent
Reminds me of Democratic cities like San Francisco. They throw so much money into the homeless, but yet the problem never gets any better. How is it that it actually has been getting worse and worse over time?
It makes so much sense now that I know how much corruption there is.
The other thing is the people who accept this money might start relying on it and not a job that can continue to make money. Free market stuff
Even "Goodwill" here in the States is a scam for a few elite to get richer.
Isnt goodwill a private for-profit business that pretends to be a charity?
I knew someone who once worked for Salvation Army, and in their location, the upper level people would look through the donations and keep things they thought were worth keeping, and the rest would go on to be processed for the stores. In wealthy areas, some very expensive furniture and other things will get donated to Salvation Army and Goodwill. I haven't ever seen any truly nice things in those stores.
The best stuff goes to their online auction site.
I have been monitoring the auction site since it went online in 2003 and the early days were wide open and I won items at a reasonable price. Nowadays, the auctions for good watches are through the roof and the same handful of bidders tend to win which tells me they are trust babies with more money than brains or there are kickbacks; the same thing applies to paintings and jewelry and the better categories. Take a look at their 10Ks to see the many millions garnered from the auctions AND the subscriptions paid by every store in the North American continent-The Indiana based CEO is paid millions along with the other top execs.
Yep. I bet these places like Goodwill and Salvation Army are nothing more than ANTIQUE SALVAGING operations. They probably have people looking out for rare items and antiques and snatch them up first before anyone gets a chance to find them. Also, These places prices are ridiculously high. Seriously, I can find lower prices at Walmart or Ikea for cheaper than what these scammers are charging customers in their stores for 2nd hand items. Shameful.
I’ve been to all the former Soviet countries and they are exactly how you described it. Afghanistan was like that too. So weird how ANTIFA see this as a good thing, I’m guessing they have never seen it first hand.
They’ve seen the bottom of a tub of tendies and it was horrific
True.
And they suck in billions a year from the gullible with their telethons and disaster emergency campaigns where they get an ‘ actor’ to speak on their behalf.
This actor if they prove themselves have the opportunity to be rewarded with titles such as a UN goodwill ambassador.
This involves a 25 years old passed their sell by date pop star flying into a squatter camp in Kenya etc. The kids have no clue as to who this person is, but are probably told they are from England and know the Queen etc
The kids all mob them for the camera. The celeb then does a piece for the camera where they flap there hands to wipe away the fake tears.
The celeb has been paid to fly out, have a week at a 5 star compound, with 3 days in Dubai as a bonus.
If it goes well they get elevated into the goodwill bullshit.
They spin this out in the U.K. every year.
Give directly to people in need in your neighborhood, even though you won't get a tax break for it. That will make 100x more impact on the world and your soul to see the direct results of your giving.
People will refuse out of embarrassment and pride, but the best way to overcome that is to tell them it's a gift from a friend/neighbor, no strings attached. Or if you know then very well, ask if they could use something when you go shopping next.
This cannot be stated enough. It does trickle down, or emanate forth, or how ever you want to label it. Help that old woman change her tire, push that car into the gas station when it stops. Volunteer. Charity starts at home, then neighborhood, your church, and so forth. I must add one thing, don't help/donate expecting something in return down the road or for getting a good feeling, that is just inner virtue signaling. You do it because you can do it, you do it because it needs to be done, you do it because those you help can't do it for themselves.
Heb 13:2, you never know who you may have helped
Absolutely, I catch myself all the time thinking "ok what's my real motivation here??" And would beat myself up over it. Im happiest when there are NO EXPECTATIONS, and it cures 99% of my anxieties.
Same thing when talking about Q to normies. If we give info with no expectations, we've done our part
Had a young man stop on a very busy interstate highway when I was much younger. I had a flat tire, this was before cell phones, and was only pulled over for a few minutes and this man stopped to change my tire then followed me up the road to the nearest gas station to finish putting air in the spare. My guardian angel right there.
Yes indeed. All major human institutions become corrupted over time - at the longest, in one to two generations max.
I've noticed that restaurants seem to go through a rise and fall cycle, that may correlate with a change in the generations of owners. It seems like it's hard for any business to maintain the quality that allows them to get through the first few years in which most businesses fail.
death to smoochy
Ah yes, the Politics of Destruction. Seattle banks on this every year with new programs for the homeless and drug addicts. But we see it everywhere....all the DC "consulting" firms and billionaire 501(c)(3) are nothing but money laundering scams, just pick your cause and start scrubbing.

Just go to charitynavigator.org (maybe dot.com, can't remember) to see how charities spend their donations. The big ones like Red Cross, American Cancer Society, and worst of all, United Way, spend most of the money they receive, for fund-raising activities, and paying their highly overpaid executives! I found a small non-profit in Maine once that was paying their director $200,000/year! I contacted some local newspapers to report it, and then about a year later, the salary was cut to $100,000, so yes, you can put a dent in some of the fraud out there. There is a series of "charity" events called "Corporate Challenge" races, they make 10s of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, from each race, held in large cities all over the world. When I tried to look into their finances, it was unavailable because they aren't a 501-c3? charity, so the charitynavigator site doesn't have data on them. But when I calculated the amount of money they would make from a given race, versus what all the race entries added up to, it was a ridiculous amount that was ripe for fraudulent taking. I imagine someone in the corporation that runs each race, names someone "race director" for a nice little bonus for probably not doing much. At least I'm not disgusted by bogus charities and the people who rip others off in the name of compassion :)
If you anons have been keeping up with your studies (fall of the cabal) you’d know that by donating to these national/big “charities” your just putting money into the pockets of the elite. If you want the tax write off. Donate locally.
Judge charities very carefully. I mostly only give the crisis pregnancy centers or adoption centers. I think Operation Underground Railroad is fine, it seems they aren’t domestically focused necessarily though.
If you think it’s fine, you just haven’t dug deep enough yet.
OUR is a newer organization and the founder adopted some kids he rescued on an operation. He’s a Christian and he seems very moved by the issues of child sex trafficking when he talks about the kids they rescue.
I used to think that it couldn't be "thaaat" bad, until I saw it for myself doing some local aid work while in the Navy. It's the same everywhere, here in the U.S. and overseas. Worse overseas, by far, but still works the same way here. That's why I just give it directly to the people in need. They're much more grateful for it when it comes form a more personal place, anyway.
If you have some recommendations on who to donate to, I'd love to hear them.
There is a charity in New York City, the only one I gave to when I worked there, called "City Harvest". They get food from grocery stores and restaurants that would be thrown out, and donate it to homeless shelters and other locations of needy people. Their operating costs are almost nothing, probably because the workers are mostly volunteers. The same organization, or similar ones, are probably located in big cities all over.
I trust them about as much as I trust the "homeless" people on the corners. The other day I watched one leave his corner and get into his van parked at the gas station.
Dude, go back behind enemy lines again and post this to /r/TrueOffMyChest/...
Might actually stay up and not get removed.
You could also try r/IAmA/
Do some good with your experiences, everyone here are already redpilled.....
Brilliant idea. I'll try it.
Same with Haiti after the earthquake 10 years ago. Donations, Red Cross, UNICEF, etc. money went where? People are still suffering.
Anybody have insight into “compassion international “ and “cure International “
Same. I would like to know about compassion international.
I have always thought this, however, I always get "charity shammed" anytime I try to have a discussion about it. "You're just not generous, you only care about yourself, etc."
This form of fraud is sadly all too common, and highly frustrating. Praying on goodwill to fund living hells. There is a reason Dante made fraud the domain of the 8th circle of hell, with 10 layers (trenches) of its own.
PS: Only traitors are worse.
The Red Cross got nailed taking most of the donated funds for California fire victims back around 2000-2001. And a National Forest worker got nailed with starting it to save her job in the Dot-com downturn...
But we all know Sally Struthers really ate the starving African children's food....
Cancer research is the biggest bottomless pit of donation money. Doesn't even have to ship anything to pretend to be doing good.
What's worse... when we send something like food to a starving place, we are ruining farmers there forever. There's a reason why they can't grow enough food, and making sure the farmers never get paid by bringing in cheap or free food is a way to make sure there never will be enough food grown there.
Anyone know how St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is? My family has backed them for ages because of the apparent fantastic work they've done. I'd like to know if anyone knows if they're still solid, because their professed cause is extremely important and valuable.
Instead of raising $200k for one kids operation send that kid to Thailand and have it done for $20k or so. Total about $25k for two tickets and hospital stay.
This entire healthcare cabal system is gonna get revamped too. Intentions are all good and have been but we’ve been led to believe in crony stuff far too long.
I call them McCharities. They care too much about building their brand. Most charity websites have their accounts hidden somewhere on their website, and the ones I've checked generally spend over 30% of their income on advertising and fundraising.
Susan G Koman... want to donate to cancer research... donate directly to the hospital. In the end the medical industry is in it to prolong you suffering, not cure you.
Precisely. We should only go once every 10 years for the med bed and be done with it.
Damn right.
And where is the UN? Silent and complicit.
I haven't researched it to know. The rule is very simple - there are absolutely zero large foundations working in the 3rd world which are anything but money laundering vehicles. They simply would not be allowed to exist. The only exception is made for up and comers, which need to get aged and gain traction before they are co-opted or destroyed.
So, it could well be that the Tebow Foundation is legit. It's young and the powers that be might not consider it a useful vehicle for their criminal operations yet. Eventually they will. At that time, either the leadership of the foundation participate with the cabal, or they get arrested for some made up crime or they have an accident.
It simply could never happen that a foundation is working internationally to affect positive change in the world without massive opposition. These despots will not tolerate such harm to their bottom line.
