Using a Google number is still just as easily tracked as your cell phone number. It is not a way to anonymize yourself or escape your number being attached.

For people complaining about cell phone number stuff, it is one of the surefire easiest way to combat shill accounts. Choose not to use it, thats fine. Hopefully this goes somewhere.
What's wrong with shill accounts? I'm sure you can block any user you don't want to hear, and personally I don't need to see anyone's posts in the first place if I'm not already following them. If I choose to follow a shill, then sure, show me his posts. Otherwise why would I even be seeing it at all?

If it’s what he’s promised on WarRoom, I’m really looking forward to it. He said it will be a YouTube/Twitter hybrid but with 24/7 channels where you can watch news-type shows. I’m picturing like a conservative PlutoTV with multiple news options. I used to run Fox all day but haven’t had it on since Nov 3. I’d love a few news channels I can stream all day (I do this with the 5 options on Pluto but would love some more)
I don't care about using a phone number, there's apps like textnow for that but any website or person saying certain words are not allowed can go fuck themselves.

I have real issues with phone only apps anyway. Even if you did have a smartphone you might choose not to do this. Those apps track every move you make on your phone, every place you go no matter where in the world. Some people don't mind that, and I am not judging but I do mind that. The gov't tracks our cell phones also and they gave themselves permission to violate our rights by having the courts rule that there is no expectation of privacy online. But I won't knowingly let social apps track me via phone.
There should be some other way to sign up. I don't have a cell phone. I won't be signing up, unless he makes it so I can sign up with an email address.
I hope it becomes a huge success, but I'm not a fan of the phone number verification. Also, why single out swearing as a no-no? That seems like a weird thing to take issue with. Of all things, why that? Does it mean you are not allowed to swear on the platform, or is it just a guideline?

This is true, though at the risk of being pedantic I meant I'm a United States citizen, though living outside the US, and thus lacking a US mobile number that would allow me to pre-register at FrankSpeech.
