Hell it's just like the flu vax meaning when you the vax you get the flu. I realize it's not the same formula just saying you get the jab, you get sick. My MIL would get the flu vax and every year she would get sick. Since she stopped that she hasn't been sick in a few years.

I had my J&J vaccine in mid to late March and have experienced a severe decline in mental health (worsening anxiety, OCD and depression) since then that shows no signs of abating. I’ve tried everything you can imagine and am quite experienced in dealing with these conditions. Nothing has made a dent and is a total paradigm shift from my state before getting the vaccine. I have a history with mystery CFS type illness and I’m very familiar with various protocols to treat it, many of which I’ve had success with. Like I said, I’ve been through it all. This feels different and an altered state altogether. The decline started immediately after and was profound.
I also had a strong immune reaction to vaccine. 103+ fever, fatigue, insomnia, horrific headaches that took a few days to go away entirely.
Oh gosh the responses... what a peak into their psyche. They seem ashamed to have side effects when no one else will admit to them. So sad they are the only one experiencing them, and willing to let the doctors gas light then into saying it’s just an immune response you’re fine. Or even, it’s all in your head.

I just wanted to tell you I experienced the same after moderna. A month out is right when I started seeing improvement. I'm 6 weeks post vaccination now and am nearly back to my normal self.
I did go to my doctor though and poured my heart out, I broke down crying on our phone appointment. I was keeping it all in because everyone else in my life has been just peachy since their vaccines. He ran a bunch of tests and checked my heart and did chest xrays (I had a super high resting heart rate and chest pain throughout all this too). Everything was normal. There's just no way anything else caused this.
My doctors very very polite and scientific way of telling me it might be "in my head" was this: it could be a conditioned response from my immune system kicking into gear. I tend to get very depressed when I'm sick with a bad cold or flu, so for me this did make sense.
Anyway, hang in there. I'm so sorry. I started having glimmers of my feeling normal right around a month, then full days at 5 weeks, now at 6 weeks I'm looking back through my journal entries and comments in this sub, trying to process what the fuck I just went through.
ETA: I also started taking fish oil, liquid vitamin D and a women's multi. I did research and got some higher end, trusted brands, the multi is made from whole foods, nothing synthetic. It may have helped? If you don't supplement with anything now, it could be worth a try!

So many people trying to persuade me to take the jab emphasize how they feel fine after getting it X days or weeks ago. At that point there is no way I can have a genuine conversation with them about what happens months and years from now because they already have it in their body.
