With all the senseless class action lawsuits what hasn't one been taken up for this very serious issue of our basic rights against these illegal acts. Even private industry has no rights to our private medical info for any reason
It's like the entire judicial system is rigged against the American people
u/#correct
Two simple letters in proper arrangement is every bit as sufficient as this extended line of dribble over a question. From a stranger. Who you'll probably never see again. Or know. A random judgement over nothing. And no one seems to have the balls to use them. But what are they really gonna do if we just say no?
because they all settle out of court to keep from setting precendent
HIPAA* we need to spell this right, please
While we're at it, we need absolute confirmation that this does indeed violate HIPAA. I'm seeing a lot of back and forth on the issue, and I'm not knowledgeable enough on the subject beyond it being illegal for medical personnel to share your records with anyone but other medical personnel.
That is correct. Patient information cannot be shared with anyone who isn't involved in someone's care. Some stranger asking your medical info and you not wishing to disclose it is fine.
Those with nefarious reasons for pushing the vaccines have to be in shock. People in "the home of the brave and the land of the free" allowed their rights to be trampled with mask mandates and then ran to have an experimental poison injected into their bodies. Who would have thought that a free citizenry would willingly do these things?
More like they're laughing their a-ses off at the ease with which the idiotic public has bought into the fabricated fear and has unquestionigly helped them further their agenda.

Simple....FEAR sells.
It's HIPAA not Hippa
tbf the head of health is a trans hippo
Updoot and a Kek for you! ???
Thank you.. this drives me nuts, lol. But maybe that's the hours upon hours upon hours of HIPAA compliance training and paperwork I've had to do for it. lol
I can't up-vote this enough! Wonderful info!
Another interesting note seems to be the discrimination towards employees who aren't injected (I don't say vaxed as it's NOT a vaccine).
In my state, Publix has said that all employees who aren't injected have to keep wearing masks. They have to show proof of being injected to work without a mask on. Isn't that forcing someone to reveal private medical information to their boss or be treated like a second class citizen?
Imagine what would happen if they made all gay employees prove they don't have HIV before being allowed to bag groceries?
My office is pressing on this as well before we “return to normal”. Been trying to get some legal opinions to see if there’s any workarounds for an employee.
End of the day, this is the hill I’ve decided I will die on, if any entity pushes to inject that crap in me they can say goodbye.
File it federally also. Be aware, if they fail to respond in 30 days it's fatal and yku win default judge.ent when you pay theb359 bucks to take the. To federal court to hear the judge tell them tjey lost.
...LOL did your fingers get in the wrong spot on the keyboard?
I think it would only take a couple of these lawsuits to be filed around the country. Make the filings very public. Then businesses will suddenly wake up to the reality that they are seriously liable for real dollar losses. As a restaurant owner myself, I understand the enormous cost of defending myself against normal lawsuits. It is usually far less costly for me to find a way to settle or arbitrate rather than actually go to court. Even if I believed I had an iron-clad defense, Counsel advises against taking a chance in a court room where a jury can never be predicted. I know I would quickly modify policies and procedures to avoid exposure to this type of suit. I believe most corporate-run businesses would, too.
I know this is like a meme here... but I am so tired of seeing people try using the HIPAA card. This just tells me they have no idea what the f@#k they are talking about. I am HIPAA certified (take the test yearly) and provide many small doctors with IT services. HIPAA and HiTech compliancy are something I know quite a bit about. If you walk into a business and they ask you for proof of a vaccine this HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIPAA. However, if this same company asks your doctor for this status that would be a HIPAA violation for the doctor if they provided it - there would be nothing technically against HIPAA towards that company asking and they would just get a flat "no" from the doctor's office if they are adhering to HIPAA standards. Take that a step further even and say that doctor has an employee that keeps their desktop and EMR logins and passwords on sticky notes on their monitor (this happens ALL THE DAMN TIME) then just the possibility that someone can sit down and access patient medical information (say even vaccination records) is a HUGE HIPAA violation. And don't get me wrong - I just went to a barber as well as to a national chain sandwich shop maskless and wasn't questioned at all about a vaccination. NCSWIC!
Question for you then as you seem well educated on the topic. How does one go about avoiding the “are you vaxxed?” question from their employer? Mine is currently pressing this and I am not sure how to best respond.
This! ☝? I’m in the medical field and we have to take a HIPPA and compliance test every year. HIPPA has to do with people working in the medical field not being able to disclose medical information about their patients or even talk to coworkers (who are also in the medical field) about patients unless it’s a direct need to know. Ex. Nurses doing shift change, doctors collaborating on a patients treatment, etc. HIPPA has nothing to do with some random person asking you specifically anything about your medical history. It might be inappropriate or even an invasion of privacy but HIPPA does not apply outside of the medical field between two citizens not in the medical field.
got this baby printed and i'll keep it in my cars so that i can review this until perfectly memorized. the next time a "karen" or vaxidiot approaches me with their bullshit, i'll be perfectly ready to shut their pie-hole.
Does this mean we can technically sue all the school systems that made us get vaccines and show proof of such in the 80s and 90s? Heck, a college I went to did this too.
I had no idea they were doing something so illegal all this time.
Well put Anon. I've been brainstorming the ways I would like to move forward as well. I think we should all start filing lawsuits against these corporate fucks. Is it legal to even force masks? Or is the mandate the way the make businesses enforce it?
Seeing the celebrities and MSM pump the vax makes me sick. McDonalds even has a campaign. It is outright evil. Please lmk if you have any ways we can get involved legally. Thanks
Heres the text incase you feel compelled to email it to walmarts and stuff.
I am putting everyone on notice, if I walk into a restaurant, bar, etc, and you ask me for proof of vac, I will immediately file suit against you. I will file both a personal and business lawsuit for violation Hippa Laws. You have no legal right under any circumstances to see my private medical records. If you deny my entrance, I will consider it as a form of discrimination and a violation of civil rights. I will use every law that is broken to destroy you. Be advised ignorance of the law is no excuse. I will not and do not authorize any release of medical records to any business without my consent. And I do not give my consent just to participate as a member of society. I have put up with the temperature checks, which are being performed by someone who is not a member of the medical profession. Even that action is an invasion of your medical privacy. Since when does someone working at a restaurant, bar, etc have the legal right to make a decision about your medical well being based upon taking your temperature. These actions of show me your papers, stops now! This is America, not nazi Germany ?? feel free to pass this on....
HIPPA doesn't prevent anyone from asking you questions.
It prevents people from sharing your information.
Does nobody read the fucking HIPPA paragraph they have to sign when they go to doctors?
Unless someone wants to point me where it says that HIPPA prevents people from asking you questions?
I'm pretty sure it's going to be discrimination that's how we fight this, not the fact that we have signed by never read the HIPPA paragraph.
I obviously agree that the fucking vaccination requirement is retarded and absurd.
But as far as the "I'LL SUE YOU!!" part I'm not sure... they're still private businesses and can deny service if they so choose I'm afraid.
the guy is all like "I WILL NOT AUTHORIZE THE RELEASE OF MY MEDICAL RECORDS!!"... well, they're not forcing you to... that's were such a case would completely crumble, if there's a case at all.
The most you can do is tell them to fuck off and take your business somewhere else, when enough people do that they'll feel it in their pockets, and stop with the retardation.
They lost this argument when they decided a private cake business could refuse service to a gay couple.
Can I deny someone service if I request medical proof that they are HIV free?
If it's your business you can do whatever the hell you want, want to make it so only people wearing top hats can peruse your facilities? go for it
Just be prepared to deal with the backlash, which is what I hope happens to any fucktard that imposes these restrictions on their businesses.
HIPPA doesn't apply to private citizens or the owner of your local bar or gas station...
HIPPA only applies to medical professionals and people who already have the access to your private information. It's a set of laws and regulations which mandate those who are trusted custodians of your data keep your data private.
Shouting "i'm gonna sue you for a HIPPA violations" at the walmart greeter is worthless.
Don't say this shit to people, it'll make you look dumb.
Finding it hard to believe you know anything about this law when you call it HIPPA.
did you read the post you were referring to?
thats what that person called it.
so sorry i don't know the faggy government acronym for it, but everything i said was correct.
notice you didn't have shit to say about that.
These people can probably help you:

Good luck!
Darnn right, brother.
This is cool an all but all it takes is someone saying," Sorry, no mask no service. "
Our money is good in any establishment. If one place don't want you in. Go spend it at an establishment that doesn't care. Many many places are hurting for money due to this " scam-demic ". I bet most will let anyone in as long as you are spending $$
