I live in a mostly rural area. Many of the people here haven't been wearing masks at all (I live in NC and it was a mandatory mask state until recently)
We went into the nearest city and noticed very few people are now wearing masks but there are still a few who will NOT relinquish them even saw some with them on walking outside yet they didn't have it covering their noses. (So why bother?)
What was really disturbing was seeing parents who were unmasked yet their kids still had on the masks. Most likely because they were not yet vaccinated. This just seems so WRONG.
Anyway I had to laugh about how ridiculous some of them still look wearing their masks and I bet many were even vaccinated.
Hubby and I were not VAXXED and we have no intention of wearing the mask again
That's how it is in cities. I was the asshole without the mask. Then the governor pulled the mandate and I was still the one in any store I went. A week or 2 later I'm seeing more and more.

I have a neighbor, body is not that bad (and she knows it), but she is seriously BUTT ugly. The mask mandate has been over here for over a month, no one in my area wears one. She wears her mask ALWAYS, even when out in the yard working alone. We all know why, these are the best days of her life.
As much as I hate them... I kinda like them on ugly people.
I wonder how much money they're saving from not having to use so much make up?
My wife is a make up artist, amount she's saving on make up she has to spend on skincare, the masks are fucking skincare up. She has a job where she unfortunately can't take hers off. We both agree it's stupid.

Not here. Went to walmart for the first time in a year.i rused to wear a mask and refuse to deal with the bullshit associated with it. Id say 98% were masked.
I bought this oinking pig toy for my dog.chased my gf around walmart oinking it at her. We were laughing our asses off.the unmasked were laughing and smiling. 8 dint know if tge masked enjoyed it or not but i doubt it. And im no longer allowed in walmart per the girlfriend.lol

Same here. Maybe 2 in 10 people have masks on. 1 of them will be some 90 year old who isn't aware of much of anything, let alone the latest news of this fraud, so they get a pass. The other one is always some blue-haired high school drop out who managed to find skinny jeans in a men's size 48 and has self-harm scars running up their arms, and I love that people are staring at them like pariahs even more so now that they refuse to give up the face diaper.
I yearn for the day! I've been stared at, and treated like a sick pariah for over a year now and the shit is growing old. Would love for the show to be on the other foot.
Ehh. It's a pretty small town. I think our county voted less than 10% Dem in the last election, but there are still a disturbing amount of these wackos that come out of the woodwork like termites. They are the product of incest, methamphetamine, and the public school system.

I live in the DFW area. We’ve been without a mask requirement for about 3 months. There were still a lot of mask wearers until recently. There was a significant drop in the number of people wearing masks. The only thing that changed was school let out for the summer.

Just went to 24 Hour Fitness tonight, first time back since March '20. About 80 people, and only about 5 had a mask on. Orange County, CA.
Q. Work is only allowing vaxxers to go without a mask. In order to go without you must submit a record your vaxx card to HR. But they also say this is voluntary and if you don't like it you can keep waring the mask. Also temperature checks are no longer required. Now the vaxxers are lording over the masked as foolish. Saying how's your mask working. Out of 1200 I see very few getting the vaxx but this carrot and stick is going to make people line up for the jab. Is any of this leagal???

I live in one of the most liberal suburbs of Philly and even here the masks are starting to come off. The hardcore crunchy Lefties still wear them, but nobody is challenging anyone any longer if they aren't wearing them. Or at least, nobody has challenged me yet for not wearing one.

I always look at mask-wearers like they are trying to conceal their face for a crime. Look them up and down, size them up, have body language like you are ready to engage them physically if they get out of line. I was amazed at how quickly those in northeast Ohio chucked the masks once the mandate was lifted. I also spent alot of time in Indiana, and it took poeple there about 2 weeks to kick the habit. Interesting. For context, some of the east Cleveland suburbs were some of the few areas where Biden signs ruled the day.
